한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 문식성 교육의 성과와 과제

국문 초록

목적: 한국어 교육에서의 문식성 교육 현황 및 연구 성과를 점검하고 향후 문식성 교육의 설계에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 방법: 체계적 문헌 고찰의 방법을 활용하여 한국어 교육에서 다루어진 문식성 연구에 관한 학술 논문 총 142편을 연구 분야, 연구 대상, 연구 방법, 교육 방안별로 분류 및 분석하고 관련 영역 핵심어를 제시하였다. 결과: 문식성 교육 연구는 한국어 학습자, 결혼 이주 여성, 다문화 가정 자녀, 중도 입국 청소년 등 다양한 학습자를 대상으로 이루어지고 있다. 문식성 교육 연구는 문헌 연구, 양적 연구, 질적 연구, 혼합 연구 등의 방법론을 활용하고 있으며 교실 수업에서 실제적 교육 내용과 교육 방안을 적용하고 있다. 결론: 이주 노동자나 외국인 직장인 등 문식성 연구 대상의 확대, 각 학습자 집단의 특성을 고려한 문식성 교육 내용의 구체화, 양적·질적 연구 방법론의 균형적 접근, 문식성 교육의 학제적 이론 정립과 교육 과정의 체계화가 요구된다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aims to examine the current status of literacy education and research results in KFL education, and to provide implications for the design and direction of literacy education in the future. Methods: In this study, a total of 142 academic papers on literacy research in KFL education were classified and analyzed by research field, research subject, research method, and educational method by utilizing the method of ‘Systematic Review’, and key words in the related research area were presented. Results: Literacy education research was conducted on various learners, including Korean language learners, married immigrant women, children of multicultural families, and immigrant youth. In addition, research is being conducted in various fields such as functional literacy, cultural literacy, critical literacy, multicultural literacy, complex literacy, academic literacy, occupational literacy, basic literacy, information literacy, and bilingual literacy. Literacy education research was also conducted using research methods such as literature review research, quantitative research, qualitative research, and mixed research, and a variety of educational contents and teaching methods related to literacy education were applied in the classroom. Conclusion: There is a need to broaden the subject of literacy research to migrant workers and foreign office workers beyond some learner groups such as international students. Also, it is necessary to specify the contents of literacy education by considering the characteristics of learners and to take a balanced approach of research methodology. In addition, it is required to establish an interdisciplinary theory of literacy education and to systematize the curriculum.
