국어과 교육과정의 ‘태도’ 범주 교육 내용에 대한 비판적 고찰

국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 국어과 교육과정의 ‘태도’ 범주 내용 설계를 위한 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법: 이를 위해 듣기·말하기 영역을 중심으로, 7차 교육과정에서부터 2022 개정 교육과정에 이르기까지 25년 동안 ‘태도’ 범주 내용의 변천 양상과 그 과정에서의 의의 및 한계를 분석하였다. 결과: 듣기·말하기 영역 교육에서 정의적 영역의 교육적 위상에 부합하는 내실 있는 교육 내용을 설계하기 위해서는 ‘태도’ 범주에 포함할 만한 대표적이고 핵심적인 정의적 요인을 선정하고, 엄선한 내용 요소는 명료하게 정의하고 적확한 용법으로 표현해야 한다. ‘태도’ 범주에 대한 일관된 이해를 방해하지 않도록 ‘태도’ 범주 내용 요소들 간 속성의 일관성도 확보해야 한다. 조작적이라 하더라도 ‘태도’ 범주 내용 요소의 발현태를 구체화하여 규정함으로써 교수·학습 및 평가 가능성을 제고하고, ‘태도’ 범주 교육 내용 조직의 계속성과 위계성도 확보해야 한다. 결론: 본 연구는 듣기·말하기 영역 교육 연구에서 그동안 소외되었던 정의적 영역에 대한 논의를 활성화하는 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of designing the contents of the ‘attitude’ category of the Korean language curriculum. Methods: In order to accomplish this research purpose, This study analyzed how the category of ‘attitude’ changed from the 7th curriculum to the 2022 revised curriculum, focusing on the listening and speaking curriculum. In addition, the significance and limitations of the method of constructing the contents of the ‘attitude’ category of the curriculum for each period were analyzed. Results: In order to construct the ‘attitude’ category of the listening and speaking area curriculum, it is necessary to select representative and core affective factors. Affective factors selected strictly must be used in precise usage. There should be consistency in the nature of the affective factors constituting the ‘attitude’ category. The affective factors constituting the ‘attitude’ category must be embodied and organized systematically. Conclusion: This study will activate the discussion of affective factors in the field of listening and speaking education research.
