히브리 성서에서 본 하나님의 정의

국문 초록

한국의 사회와 자연은 모두 참담하고 위험한 상황에 있다. 신자유주의 세계화 이후 그 사회경제적 폐해가 극심하고, 생태 환경의 위기도 심각하다. 이런 상황에서 한국교회는 세상의 소금과 빛답게 하나님의 정의를 행해야 한다. 그리고 이를 위해 먼저 하나님의 정의가 무엇인지 이해해야 한다. 히브리 성서에서 정의를 뜻하는 단어들 가운데 체데크/체다카의 기본 의미는 ‘관계 정의’이고, 미쉬파트의 기본 의미는 ‘사법 정의’이다.선행 연구들에 의하면, 히브리 성서에 나타난 하나님의 정의는, 하나님과 사람, 사람과 사람, 사람과 피조 자연 사이의 ‘정의로운 관계’를의미하고, 또한 많은 경우 행위 명사로서 ‘정의로운 행동’을 의미하며,‘하나님의 거룩하심’과 서로 하나이다. 하나님의 정의는 넓은 의미에서‘하나님이 사람에게 행하시는 정의’, ‘사람이 하나님께 행하는 정의’, ‘사람이 사람에게 행하는 정의’, ‘사람이 피조 자연에게 행하는 정의’를 모두 가리킨다(하나님→사람 / 사람→하나님 / 사람→사람 / 사람→자연).하나님의 정의를 분류하여 설명하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 하나님이사람에게 행하시는 정의에는 통치 정의(사람을 통치하시는 정의), 징벌정의(악인을 징벌하시는 정의), 구원 정의(의인을 구원하시는 정의), 용서 정의(죄인을 용서하시는 정의)가 있다. 둘째, 사람이 하나님께 행하는 정의에는 신앙 정의(하나님을 믿는 정의), 순종 정의(하나님께 순종하는 정의), 예배 정의(하나님께 예배하는 정의)가 있다. 셋째, 사람이 사람에게 행하는 정의에는 사법 정의(정의로운 재판의 실행)와 경제 정의(정의로운 경제의 실현)가 있는데, 경제 정의는 다시 토지 정의(토지 평등권의 실현), 주거 정의(만민 주거권의 실현), 대부 정의(빈민 무이자대부와 부채 탕감의 실천), 노동 정의(노동 착취 금지와 자유 회복의 실천), 매매 정의(정의로운 상거래의 실천), 구제 정의(빈자 구제의 실천)로 나뉜다. 넷째, 사람이 피조 자연에게 행하는 정의는 생태 정의라고 할수 있는데, 여기에는 농토 정의(농토 보호의 실천), 동물 정의(동물 보호의 실천), 식물 정의(식물 보호의 실천)가 있다.한국교회의 그리스도인들은 이와 같은 하나님의 정의를 힘써 행하여야 한다. 그래서 사회와 자연을 위기에서 건져내야 한다. 하나님의 정의를 행하는 자는 복이 있다.

영문 초록

Both society and nature in Korea are in a dire and dangerous situation. After neoliberal globalization, the social and economic harm is severe, and the crisis of ecological environment is also serious. In this situation, the Korean church must do God’s justice as the salt and light of the world. Moreover, to do this, we must first understand what God’s justice is. The words for justice in the Hebrew Bible are צ ד ק/ צ ד ק ה . and מ שׁ פ ט . The basic meaning of צ ד ק/ צ ד ק ה is ‘relational justice,’ and the basic meaning of מ שׁ פ ט is ‘judicial justice.’ According to previous studies, God's justice in the Hebrew Bible means ‘just relationship’ between God and man, man and man, and man and nature. And in many cases, God’s justice means ‘just act’ as an action noun. Finally, God’s justice is one with ‘God’s holiness.’ In a broad sense, God’s justice refers to all of ‘the justice that God does to man,’ ‘the justice that man does to God,’ ‘the justice that man does to man,’ and ‘the justice that man does to nature’ (God→man / man→God / man→man / man→ nature). These are categorized and explained as follows. First, the justice that God does to man includes reigning justice, punishing justice, saving justice, and forgiving justice. Second, the justice that man does to God includes the justice of faith, the justice of obedience, and the justice of worship. Third, the justice that man does to man includes judicial justice and economic justice. Economic justice is further divided into land justice (the right equal to land), housing justice (the right to housing for all people), loan justice (interest-free loans and debt relief for the poor), labor justice (prohibition of labor exploitation and restoration of freedom), commerce justice (just commerce), and relief justice (relief of the poor). Fourth, the justice that man does to nature can be called ecological justice, which includes the justice of agricultural soil (the protection of agricultural soil), animal justice (animal protection), and plant justice (plant protection). Christians in the Korean church should strive to do God’s justice to rescue society and nature from crisis. Blessed are those who do the justice of God.
