국문 초록

[연구 목적] 본 연구의 목적은 한국종교교육학회의 <종교교육학연구>에 지난 30년 동안 수록된 논문들을 분석하여 연구들의 특징을 검토하고, 이를 바탕으로 종교교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하며 연구의 방향에 대해 제언하는 것이다. [연구 내용] 본 연구에서는 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하여 <종교교육학연구>에 게재된 논문들의 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 구체적으로 1995년부터 2024년까지 30년간 게재된 논문에서 나타난 주요 키워드의 빈도와 N-gram 연결성을 분석하고, 논문들을 초기(1995 - 2004), 중기(2005 - 2014), 후기(2015 - 2024)로 나누어 각 시기별 키워드 TF-IDF를 비교하였다. 또한 초기, 중기, 후기로 나누어 N-gram 분석을 통해 키워드 간 관계성을 비교하여 각 시기별 특징을 도출하였다. [결론] 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 30년간 연구 동향을 분석한 결과, ‘종교교육’과 ‘불교’가 주요 연구 주제였으며, 시대별로 ‘유교’, ‘동학’ 관련 연구는 감소하고, ‘인성교육’, ‘제4차 산업혁명’ 관련 연구가 증가하였다. 둘째 시대별 특징에서 초기에는 다양한 ‘종교 관련 교육내용’, ‘가정교육’, ‘인권교육’이 중요하였다. 중기에는 ‘종교교육의 다양성’, ‘교육학적 접근’, ‘대학’ 관련 연구가 증가하였다. 후기에는 ‘종교교육’과 ‘기술융합’, ‘제4차 산업혁명’ 관련 주제, ‘인성교육’, ‘공공성’이 중요하게 다루어졌다. 이 연구는 종교교육학 연구의 발전과 변화 추이를 파악하여 종교교육의 다양성 확보 및 교육정책 수립에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

[Objective] The purpose of this study is to analyze the papers published over the past 30 years in the Korean Journal of Religious Education by the Korean Association for the Study of Religious Education. The study aims to review the characteristics of these studies, draw implications for religious education based on these findings, and provide suggestions for future research directions. [Contents] This study employed text mining techniques to analyze research trends in the papers published in the Journal of Religious Education Studies. Specifically, it analyzed the frequency of major keywords and N-gram connectivity in papers published over a 30-year period from 1995 to 2024. The papers were divided into early (1995-2004), middle (2005-2014), and late (2015-2024) periods to compare keyword TF-IDF for each period. Additionally, the study compared the relationships between keywords through N-gram analysis for early, middle, and late periods to identify the characteristics of each period. [Conclusions] The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, the analysis of research trends over 30 years revealed that “religious education” and “Buddhism” were major research topics. Research related to “Confucianism” and “Donghak” decreased over time, while studies on “character education” and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” increased. Second, regarding the characteristics of each period, in the early period, various “religion-related educational content,” “home education,” and “human rights education” were important. In the middle period, “diversity in religious education,” “educational approaches,” and university-related research increased. In the late period, “religious education” and “technology convergence,” topics related to the “Fourth Industrial Revolution,” “character education,” and “public nature” were prominently addressed.
