이변량 토빗 모형을 이용한 직장 및 업무 만족도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대졸자 직업이동경로 조사 데이터를 이용하여 직장만족도와 업무만족도에 대한 결정요인을 분석한다. 그런데 일반적으로 직장 및 업무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석할 때 취업자를 대상으로 분석하게 됨으로써, 미취업자가 분석에서 체계적으로 배제됨으로써 표본선택 편의 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이런 문제를 극복하기 위해 취업자와 미취업자 모두 분석에 포함 시키는 토빗 모형(Tobit model)을 이용한다. 한편 종속변수가 직장 및 업무만족도이므로 두 변수의 상호의존성을 반영하기 위해 이변량 토빗 모형을 활용한다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 표본선택 편의와 종속변수 간의 상호의존성을 반영한 이변량 토빗모형이 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 남자가 여자에 비해서 직장 및 업무만족도가 모두 높았으며, 셋째, 부모소득이 높을수록, 평균평점이 높을수록, 그리고 전공만족도와 대학만족도가 높을수록 직장 및 업무만족도가 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로, 인문계열에 비해서 이공계열과 기타 계열이 직장 및 업무만족도가 높게 나타났으며, 취업목표가 있는 대졸자가 더 높게 나타났다.

영문 초록

In this study, the determinants of company and job satisfaction are analyzed using the data from 2019 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS). When analyzing factors affecting job satisfaction and job satisfaction, it is generally analyzed only for the employed. In this case, the problem of sample selection bias arises as the unemployed are systematically excluded from the population. The Tobit model, which includes both employed and unemployed, is used in the analysis to overcome the problem of sample selection bias. In particular, the bivariate Tobit model is used to reflect the interdependence of the two variables, since the dependent variables are company and job satisfaction. The main analysis results are as follows. First, the bivariate Tobit model was found to be statistically significant. Second, males showed higher company and job satisfaction than females. Third, the higher the parental income, the higher the GPA, and the higher the major and university satisfaction, the higher the company and job satisfaction. Fourth, compared to humanities, science and engineering and other fields showed higher company and job satisfaction. Finally, company and job satisfaction was higher than those of college graduates who did not have a job goal.
