국문 초록

연구목적 본 연구는 코로나 19시기 학생자치활동에 대한 교원들의 인식을 탐색하고, 위드코로나 전환기를 맞이하여 학생자치활동에 요청되는 실천적 조건을 탐색하는 일이다. 연구방법 학생자치활동에 대한 교원을 면담하고 교원들의 인식을 구조적으로 이해하고자 1단계로 학교자치 진단도구와 2단계로 세 가지 민주시민교육 접근방식에 따른 분석틀을 마련하여 분류했다. 3단계에서는 이렇게 분류된 학생자치활동에 대한 인식을 변혁적 역량 측면에서 학생주도성을 발현하기 위해 요청되는 실천적 지점이 무엇인지 탐색했다. 연구결과 첫째, 학생자치활동이 용이한 학생자치 플랫폼과 관계기반 학생자치 시스템이 마련될 필요가 있다. 둘째, 민주적 소통을 하는 학교의 지원자적 역할을 통해 학생자치 참여구조를 마련할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 학생자치 권한을 격려하는 학생자치 관점을 기반으로 소그룹 활동과 학생과 교사간 협력형 참여를 통해 지역사회문제 참여로 확장되도록 거버넌스 구축이 필요하다. 결론 위드코로나 전환기에 적절한 학생자치활동의 가능성을 높이고 지속성을 유지하기 위해서는 학생과 교사가 함께 학생자치활동에 대해 성찰적으로 ‘의미’를 부여하면서 공동성장해가려는 학교문화를 축적함으로써 비판적 학생자치활동을 작동시켜야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study was to explore teachers perceptions of student autonomy activities during the COVID-19 period. In addition, it was to explore practical conditions requested for student autonomy activities in the wake of the “Living With Corona” transition period. Methods: Teachers were interviewed about student autonomy activities and structurally understood teachers perceptions. As a first step, the interviews were classified according to the school self-diagnosis tool. In the second step, an analysis framework according to the democratic citizenship education approach was prepared and classified. In the third stage, we explored what practical points were requested to express student leadership in terms of transformational competence in recognition of student autonomy activities classified in this way. Results: First, this research found that it is necessary to prepare a student autonomy platform that facilitates student autonomy activities and a relationship-based student autonomy system. Second, the applicant student with the participation of the school through the democratic communication structure will need to be developed. Third, the student government authority should encourage students and there should be small-group activities and cooperation between students and teachers based on view that participation in the governance is required to build and extend solutions for local community problems. Conclusion: In order to increase the possibility of appropriate student autonomy activities and maintain sustainability during the ‘Living With Corona’ transition period, students and teachers must reflectively give “meaning” to student autonomy activities together. At the same time, critical student autonomy activities should be created by developing a school culture that seeks joint growth.
