중등교사의 ICT 활용 및 인식에 따른 하위집단 분류 및 영향요인 검증

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 중등교사들의 ICT 활용 및 인식에 따른 하위집단을 분류하고 교사 수준과 학교 수준의 영향요인을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 ICILS 2018의 학교와 교사 자료를 활용하여 다층 잠재프로파일 분석을 수행하였다. 잠재집단 분류를 위해 ICT 활용 실태는 교사 주도 활용, 학생 주도 활용, 평가 활용, 일방향적 도구 사용, 상호작용적 도구 사용, 전문성 개발 활동 참여를, ICT 활용에 대한 인식은 ICT 자아효능감, ICT 활용의 긍정적/부정적 결과 인식, 협업에 대한 인식을 변수로 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 잠재집단은 저수준집단(27.6%), 평균집단(45.1%), 활용고수준집단(14.2%), 소통고수준집단(10.2%), 활용소통고수준집단(3.0%)으로 분류되었다. 잠재집단 분류에 영향을 주는 요인으로 교사 수준에서는 연령대와 담당과목이, 학교 수준에서는 학교규모, 지역규모, 전문성개발풍토가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 학교 내 전문성개발풍토가 교사의 ICT 활용과 인식을 높이는 주요한 요인이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 도출하고 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to classify latent profiles according to the utilization and perception of ICT by Korean secondary school teachers, and to verify the influencing factors at the teacher level and school level. To this end, a multilevel latent profile analysis was performed using data from ICILS 2018 for schools and teachers. The utilization of ICT in teaching and learning included the frequency of ICT usage, experience of ICT tools, and the participation level in professional development activities. In addition, the perception of ICT use included the self-efficacy of using ICT, the recognition of the positive/negative results in the use of ICT for education, and the need for collaboration in the use of ICT. As a result of the analysis, latent profiles were classified into a low-level group (27.6%), an average group (45.1%), a high-level utilization group (14.2%), a high-level communication group (10.2%), and a high-level utilization and communication group (3.0%). As factors influencing the classification of latent profiles, teachers age and subject were significant at the teacher level, and school size, regional size, and professional development climate were significant at the school level. In particular, it was confirmed that the school s professional development climate can be a major factor in raising teachers utilization and perception of ICT. Based on the research results, implications and suggestions for future research were discussed.
