범교과 학습 주제에 맞는 경제교육 자료 활성화 방안

국문 초록

본 연구는 범교과 학습 주제로서 경제교육의 활성화를 위해 학교 현장에서 활용되는 경제교육 자료를 분석하고 활용 제고 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 경제교육 자료 활용 실태 분석을 위해 초‧중‧고 교육과정 및 KDI 자료, 각종 교육 자료 제공 사이트를 참고하였으며, 현장 교사들의 인식 파악을 위한 간담회와 장학사, 교사 커뮤니티 운영자 등을 대상으로 서면조사를 실시하였다. 경제교육 자료 실태 분석을 통해 얻은 문제점들은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육대상이 불분명하고 자료의 세분화가 부족하였다. 둘째, 학습자의 수준을 고려하지 않거나, 자료의 최신화 작업이 부족하였다. 셋째, 교과나 창의적 체험활동과의 연계성이 부족하였다. 이와 같은 실태조사를 바탕으로 본 연구를 통해 제언하고자 하는 바는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경제교육 자료의 교육대상을 분명히 하고, 자료의 세분화 및 접근성을 높이는 작업이 요구된다. 둘째, 학습자의 수준과 흥미를 고려한 교육 내용을 제공하여야 한다. 구체적인 방법으로는 찾아가는 경제교육 활용 방안, 교구 및 다양한 매체 활용 방안 등이 있다. 셋째, 학교 교육과정과 경제교육의 연계성을 강화하여야 한다. 이를 위해서는 학교 관리자의 관심이 절실하고, 창의적 체험활동과의 연계를 강화할 필요성이 있다. 넷째, 경제교육 자료의 홍보가 필요하다. 이를 위해서 개발된 경제교육 자료를 다양한 교사 커뮤니티나 교사 연수 과정을 통해 적극적으로 홍보‧보급할 필요성이 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze economic education materials used in school fields to vitalize economic education as a cross-curricular learning topic and to suggest ways to improve their utilization. For the analysis of the actual use of economic education materials, the website for providing school education courses, KDI materials, and various educational materials were referenced. Written surveys were conducted during meetings to identify teachers in the field, scholarships, and teacher community operators. As a result, the problems obtained through the analysis of the actual condition of economic education materials are as follows. First, the subject of education was unclear and the data were not subdivided. Second, the learner s level was not considered, or the work of updating data was insufficient. Third, there was a lack of connection with the subject or creative experience activities. Based on this research, the following are the suggestions that arose from this study. First, it is required to clarify the educational subject for economic education materials, and to improve the subdivision and accessibility of the materials. Second, it is necessary to provide educational content that considers learners level and interest. Specific methods include a plan to utilize economic education, and a plan to use numerous forms of media. Third, the connection between school curriculum and economic education must be strengthened. For this, the attention of school administrators is desperately required, and there is a need to strengthen the connection with creative experience activities. Fourth, it is necessary to actively promote economic education materials through various teacher communities or teacher training courses.
