개인적 사고 경험이 불안전감 평가에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 다양한 유형의 사고 경험에 따라 개인이 느끼는 스트레스의 수준에서의 차이와 개인의 정서성이 환경이나 타인에 대한 주관적 불안전감 평가에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 자료는 설문조사 전문업체에 의뢰하여 수집되었고, 총 953명의 자료가 분석되었다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 사고유형 중에서 타인에 의한 폭행은 남성이, 반면 성추행/성폭행은 여성이 상대적으로 유의하게 높은 비율로 사고 경험을 보고하였다. 둘째, 타인에 의한 폭행과 성추행/성폭행 경험에 의한 스트레스 수준은 자신의 실수에 의한 상해나 교통사고에 의한 스트레스 수준에 비해 유의하게 더 높았다. 셋째, 타인에 의한 폭행 사고와 성추행/성폭행 사고에서 스트레스 수준과 부정정서 수준 사이의 유의한 상호작용 효과가 관찰되어 부정정서 고수준 조건에서만 사고 스트레스에 의한 불안전감 수준의 유의한 증가가 관찰되었다. 이러한 결과는 심각한 사고에 의해 개인이 경험한 스트레스가 환경이나 타인에 대한 불안전감 평가에 미치는 영향을 이해하기 위해서는 사고유형에 따른 스트레스 경험 수준과 함께 개인의 정서성을 통합적으로 고려해야 한다는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Difference in the stress level experience by various types of accidents, and interactive effect of stress level and affectivity on feeling of unsafety were investigated. Data were collected through a questionnaire by online, and a total of 953 participants data were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, for relative accident experience rate, males showed higher rate in physical violence by others than females, whereas females experienced more sexual assault than males. Second, the stress level caused by physical violence and sexual assault was significantly higher than the stress level experienced by unintentional injuries and traffic accidents. Third, in the case of physical violence by others and sexual assault, the interaction effects between stress level and negative affect was significant. Specifically, the feeling of unsafety caused by the accidents tended to be high when negative affect was also high. These results suggest that in order to understand individual differences in the stress level experienced by various types of accident, and its effect on the feeling of unsafety, individual s affectivity should be considered integrally.
