다문화청소년의 학교생활 만족이 진로태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 다문화청소년의 학교생활만족(교우관계, 학업적응, 교사와의 관계)이 진로태도(결정성, 준비성)에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 청소년에게 심리·행동적 불안과 고통을 수반한다고 보고된 사회적 위축이 조절효과의 역할을 하는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 다문화청소년 패널조사(MAPS) 7차년도 데이터인, 고등학교 1학년 다문화청소년 1,260명의 응답 결과에 대해 SPSS 20.0을 활용하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 교우관계, 학업적응, 교사와의 관계가 진로태도 결정성에 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향이 있는 것을 확인하였고, 교우관계와 학업적응이 진로태도 준비성에 정(+)적으로 유의한 영향이 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 학교생활만족과 진로태도의 관계에서 다문화청소년의 사회적 위축은 교우관계와 상호작용하여 결정성과 준비성 모두에 유의한 조절효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 첫째, 고등학교에서 진행되고 있는 진로교육 프로그램의 내실화를 통해 사회적 위축을 완화시킬 수 있는 방안과 둘째, 다문화청소년과 비(非)다문화청소년이 함께 어울려 참여할 수 있는 진로교육 및 프로그램이 되어야 한다고 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study confirms the effect of multicultural adolescents s school life satisfaction (friend relation, academic adaptation, teacher relation) on career attitude (decision, preparation). And it was to examine whether social withdrawal, which was reported to accompany psychological/behavioral anxiety and pain in adolescents, plays a role in the moderating effect. Data is from the 7th year of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study of the National Youth Policy Institute. Regression analysis was conducted for the 1,260 multicultural teenagers who were in their first year of high school. The data analysis tool is SPSS 20.0. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that friend relation, academic adaptation, teacher relation had a positive (+) significant influence on career attitude ‘decision’. Also It was confirmed that friend relation and academic adaptation had a positive (+) significant effect on career attitude ‘preparation’. In addition, it was verified that social withdrawal interacted with friend relation and had a significant moderating effect on both decision and preparation. Based on these findings, first, the career education and programs that are being conducted in high school must be improved. Second, it should be a career education and program in which multicultural youth and non-multicultural youth can join together.
