국문 초록

구조방정식모형에 대하여 분석을 수행하는 경우 주요 관심 사항이 되는 것은 연구자의 가설적 모형이 실제 데이터와 얼마나 부합되는지를 평가하는 것이다. 즉, 연구자의 가설에 의해 구축된 모형이 실제 자료에 의해 얼마나 지지되는지를 평가함으로써, 이를 기초로 하여 연구자는 그 모형을 적절한 모형으로 받아들이거나 일부를 수정할 수 있다. 따라서 연구자의 가설적 모형에 대한 평가는 구조방정식모형에 대한 분석에서 매우 중요한 내용이라고 할 수 있다. 그런데, 일반적으로 이론모형에 대한 평가는 적합도 지수(fit index)들에 의해서 이루어지기 때문에, 적합도 지수에 대한 적절한 이해와 타당한 모형을 선택하기 위한 절차는 중요하게 다루어져 내용이라고 할 수 있다. 지금까지 구조방정식모형의 적합도를 평가하기 위하여 많은 지수들이 개발되어 왔다. 따라서 연구자들은 이들 적합도 지수들이 가지는 특성을 여러 가지 측면에서 검토하여 적절히 사용할 필요가 있다. 이 논문에서는 붓스트랩방법에 의한 모의실험을 통해 주요 적합도 지수들의 제2종 오류를 산출하고 성능을 평가하였다. 관찰변수들의 분포로는 정규분포와 비대칭적인 지수분포를 고려하였고, ML과 WLS 추정방법을 적용하여 주요 결과를 비교하였다.

영문 초록

When analyzing the structural equation model, the main concern is to evaluate how well the researcher s hypothetical model fits the actual data. In other words, by evaluating how much the model constructed by the researcher s hypothesis is supported by the actual data, the researcher can accept the model as an appropriate model or modify a part based on this. Therefore, it can be said that the evaluation of the researcher s hypothetical model is very important in the analysis of the structural equation model. However, since the evaluation of a theoretical model is generally made by fit indices, the proper understanding of the goodness-of-fit index and the procedure for selecting an appropriate model are considered important and content. Until now, many indices have been developed to evaluate the fit of the structural equation model. Therefore, researchers need to review the characteristics of these goodness-of-fit indices from various aspects and use them appropriately. In this paper, we calculated type 2 error of major fit indices and evaluated the performance through simulation by the bootstrap method. As the distribution of observed variables, the normal distribution and the asymmetric exponential distribution were considered, and the major results were compared by applying the ML and WLS estimation methods.
