국문 초록

본 연구는 교수자로부터 제공받은 첨삭논평에 대해 학습자가 보인 반응의 젠더양상을 고찰하는 데 목적이 있다. 첫째, 남녀 학습자는 ‘내용’에서의 수용 반응과 ‘교정’에서의 거절 반응에 대해공통적인 양상을 보인다. 학습자는 자신의 글에 대한 교수자의 관심을 ‘내용’ 영역으로 판단하므로 교수자는 이에 대한 첨삭논평을 적극적으로 제공해야 한다. 그리고 남녀 학습자들은 ‘교정’의 첨삭논평에 대해 회피하거나 적당히 타협하므로 교수자는 필요한 경우가 아니라면 이를 주의할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 남녀 학습자는 수용과 거절의 반응 양상에서 몇 가지 차이를 보인다. 수용 반응에서 여학생과 달리 남학생은 ‘쓰기 맥락’에 대해 낮은 수용률을 보이므로과제를 수행하기 전 과제의 수사적 상황의 이해 정도를 교수자가 확인할 필요가있다. 그리고 남학생은 우회적이고 완화된 첨삭논평 방식의 수용률이 높은 반면, 여학생은 질문 방식의 수용률이 높다. 또한 남학생은 여학생보다 비교적 높은 거절률을 보이고, 여학생은 ‘표현의 정확성’에서 상대적으로 높은 거절률을 보인다. 셋째, 첨삭피드백 활동은 젠더 양상을 고려하여 초점-‘쓰기 맥락’, ‘조직’, ‘내용’, ‘표현의 정확성’-에 따라 단계적으로 진행하는 것이 효과적일 수 있다. 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 첨삭피드백 활동의 효율적인 수행과 학습자의 효과적인쓰기 능력 향상을 위해 본 연구의 결과가 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study examines the gender patterns of the responses of students to the comment provided by the teacher. First, male and female students show a common reaction to the acceptance of content and the rejection of correction . Students judges the teacher s interest in his/her writing with comments of content. Therefore, the teacher should actively provide comments of content. And because they avoid or compromise on comments of correction , the teacher needs to be careful if not necessary. Second, male and female students show some differences in response to acceptance and rejection. In acceptance, unlike female students, male students have a low acceptance rate for comments of context , so teachers need to confirm their understanding of the rhetorical context before the assignment. And male students have a high acceptance rate of bypassed and relaxed comments, while female students have a high acceptance rate of questions. Male students have a high acceptance rate of indirect and euphoric expressions, while female students have a high acceptance rate of question mode. Also, male students show a relatively high rejection rate than female students, and female students show a relatively high rejection rate for comments of correctness . Third, feedback activity can be effective in step by step with comment of focus - such as context , organization , content and correctness - considering gender patterns. We hope that the results of this study will be used to improve the effective performance of feedback activities and the effective writing ability of students in college writing education.
