산전 계획된 치과진료가 임산부 구강보건의 인지도와 실천도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 산전 계획된 치과 진료경험 여부가 임산부 구강보건의 인지도와 실천도에 따른 영향을 파악하여 임산부의 구강병 예방과 건강한 구강건강관리 및 유지에 도움이 되는 교육프로그램 개발에 활용할 근거를 마련하고자 하였다. 일 광역시에 소재한 3개 여성전문병원에서 분만하기 위해 방문한 임산부 275명을 대상으로 2010년 9월 1일부터 10월 30일까지 구조화된 설문지로 조사하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 19.0을 이용하여 카이제곱검정(chi-square test), t-검정(t-test), 피어슨 상관계수(Pearson correlation coefficient), 선형회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 구강보건 인지도와 실천도에서 대부분 임산부의 구강보건 인지도보다 실천도가 낮았으며 산전 계획된 치과 진료경험이 있는 임산부가 인지도와 실천도에서 높게 나타났고, 구강보건에 대한 인지도가 높을수록 실천도가 높게 나타났음을 알 수 있었다. 산전 계획된 치과진료 경험여부에 따른 임산부의 구강보건 인지도가 실천도에 비해 높게 나타났음에도 불구하고 그 영향력은 실천도가 더 높게 나타났다. 따라서, 산전 치과진료를 통해 자신의 구강을 관리하고 구강보건전문가로부터의 구강보건교육 프로그램이 반드시 필요하리라 생각된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of pregnant women’s oral health awareness and practice according to planned dental care experience before pregnancy. By use of the findings from this study, this study attempted to provide the basis to develop an educational oral health program to help pregnant women’s dental care and prevention. This study conducted the survey of 275 pregnant women who visited 3 women’s hospitals for delivery from September 1 to October 30, 2010 with structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 19.0 program for chi-square test, t-test, Pearson correlation and simple regression analysis. The study found that most pregnant women has a lower level of practice than a level of awareness. Pregnant women who has a experience of planned dental care shows higher on both awareness and practice, thus this study represented that the higher the level of awareness was, the higher the level of practice was. Therefore, planned dental care and oral health education program before pregnancy is necessary to pregnant women.
