정준상관분석과 편상관계수를 이용한 대학졸업자의 미취업 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국고용정보원에서 실시한 대졸자 직업이동 경로조사의 1~3차년도 자료를 이용하여 경제활동상태 변화를 성별에 따라 심층적으로 분석하였다. 분석방법으로는 수량화분석의 일종인 정준상관분석과 편상관계수를 이용하였다. 분석결과 노동시장에서 취업을 유지하느냐 또는 미취업을 경험하느냐의 여부(1축)에 가장 영향을 많이 주는 변인은 직업활동의 어려움, 전공계열, 직업훈련, 가구주 여부이고, 다른 하나의 축인 노동시장에서 취업자로 출발하느냐 또는 그렇지 않느냐를 나타내는 것(2축)에 영향을 많이 주는 변인은 전공계열과 학교 유형이었다. 하지만 편상관계수에 의한 분석에서 가장 많은 영향을 주는 변수는 1축에서는 직업훈련과 가구주 여부로 바뀌었고, 2축은 동일하게 나타났다. 이와 같이 범주화된 독립변인들을 분석할 때, 각 범주에 속한 규모의 차이가 클 때에는 정준상관분석과 편상관계수를 동시에 고려해야만 한다.

영문 초록

This study used the GOMS (graduates occupational mobility survey) from 2006 to 2008, which it executed from the KEIS (Korea Employment Information Service). In order to the result of the canonical relation analysis, 1st axis of quantization explain whether graduates hold the status of employment or explain the status of non-employment, 2nd axis of the quantization explain whether graduates depart the status of employment or the status of non-employment in the labor market. The variables to affect the 1st axis are difficulties in the job activity, major, job training, and householder. The variables to affect the 2nd axis are major and the type of the school. But looking through the result of the partial correlation coefficients, the variables to affect the 1st axis are job training and householder, but in the 2nd axis, the results are same. The reasons that showing very different results because the size of scale of respondents vary with the category. So we consider not canonical correlation analysis but also partial correlation coefficients when there is a distinct difference between the categories.
