대학입학 전형에 따른 학업성취도 분석

국문 초록

최근 대학입학 전형요소는 대학입학 자율화의 안정적 정착에 힘입어 각 대학의 특성에 따라 전형요소 반영방법에서 선발유형, 반영비율 등의 다양화가 이루어지고 있어, 각 대학이 제공하는 교육에 가장 적합한 신입생을 선발하기 위해 바람직한 전형방법이 중요하게 되었다. 본 연구는 대학의 입학전형요소가 학생의 대학학업성취도에 어떻게 관계하는지를 분석하기 위하여, 부경대학교의 2004~2009학년도 지원자 및 합격자 추이를 파악하고, 2009학년도 신입생을 대상으로 수시모집과 정시 ‘가’군, ‘나’군 모집 현황과 지역별 모집 현황을 관찰하여 대학학업성취도에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하였다. 학업성적우수자전형으로 입학한 수시모집 지원 신입생이 정시모집지원 신입생보다 대체적으로 대학학업성취도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 학업성취도와 관련하여 모집시기, 모집단위, 지역을 요인으로 한 분산분석 결과 모집시기, 모집단위, 지역의 주요인이 학업성취도 평균에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

As the government allows more freedom to select students for admission and every university provides a lot of their own special screening process, it is more important to find college admissions with the proper ways. In this study, we are applied to find a way by analyzing the factors influencing academic achievement scores using the admission records in the Pukyong National University. From the results, the significant differences are found among the admission time, units, administrative area of recruiting and students academic achievement in 2009. It means the students who are admitted with excellent academic score for early decision policy have higher academic achievement than those of the regular applicants. By the area of recruiting, the students living in urban area have higher academic achievement than those of living in Busan or rural area outside of Busan.
