부분선형모형에서 덧편잔차 그림을 이용한 이상치 검색

국문 초록

선형모형추정에서 집단 이상치를 탐지하는 방법은 다양하게 제시되어 있지만 부분선형모형에서 이상치 탐지법은 제한적이다. 부분선형모형의 경우 모형에 포함된 함수의 형태가 알려져 있지 않음에 따라 이상치 판정의 가변성이 커지게 되고 만약 곡선의 함수를 모수적으로 가정하면 함수의 임의성에 의해 결과가 왜곡되거나 계산량의 증가와 같은 어려움이 발생할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 덧편잔차 그림으로 부분선형모형의 함수부분을 추정할 때 계산되는 잔차를 이용하여 부분선형모형에서 이상치를 검색하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 효율성을 검증하기위하여 모의 실험한 결과 제안된 방법은 부분선형모형의 형태를 동일하게 가정한다고 해도 덧편잔차 그림을 이용하여 부분선형모형에 포함된 함수를 추정하는 과정을 거치지 않고 이상치를 검색하는 방법보다 개선된 결과를 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

Partially linear models are widely used when linear relationship between explanatory variables and response variable is not so sure in regression situations. Unlike in linear models case, not many methods are suggested for detecting multiple outliers in partially linear models. Due to an unknown function included in partially linear models the determination of outlyingness of the cases is changeable and, if the shape of an unknown function is assumed parametrically, the amount of computation is increased. In this paper we suggest to use residuals calculated in the process of estimating unknown function in the partially linear model by using augmented partial residual plot to improve those problems. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method in this paper offer improved results over the method without using augmented partial residuals in estimating an unknown function in partially linear models.
