국문 초록

본 연구는 정보제공을 통해 중환자실에서 퇴실하는 뇌졸중 환자가족의 불안 및 역할스트레스에 미치는 효과를 확인하고자 시도하였다. 비동등성 대조군 전후시차설계를 이용한 유사실험연구이며, 연구대상자는 B시 D병원 중환자실에 입원중인 뇌졸중환자 중에서 퇴실이 예정된 환자의 가족으로 실험군 22명, 대조군 23명을 선정하였고, 자료수집기간은 2005년 5월 10일부터 8월 31일까지이었다. 실험처치를 위해 정보제공 프로토콜을 개발하고 3차에 걸쳐 실시하였으며, 1차는 퇴실예정일 3일전, 2차는 퇴실예정일 2일전, 3차는 퇴실직후 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 12.0을 이용하여 χ2-test와 t-test, Fisher s exact test, ANCOVA를 실시하였다. 그 결과 정보제공을 받은 실험군은 받지 않은 대조군에 비해 역할스트레스 점수는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.주요용어 : 환자가족, 정보제공, 불안, 역할스트레스.

영문 초록

This study was to identify the effect of information protocol on anxiety and role stress in family caregivers caring for post-ICU stroke patients. The research design was a non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. The data were collected from May 10 to August 31, 2005 at the D hospital in Busan City. The subjects consisted of 45 family caregivers of stroke patients who were expected to be discharged from the ICU by their doctor, and they were divided into two groups.The degree of role stress was significantly decreased, but the degree of anxiety was not significantly decreased compared to the control group. The information protocol was effective for decrease of role stress in family caregivers caring for post-ICU stroke patients. Therefore, the systematic information protocol can be used an practically for alleviating the role stress to the family caregivers assigned in the rehabilitation of post-ICU stroke patients.
