신용보증기업의 특성과 도산 요인에 관한 실증 연구

국문 초록

신용보증제도는 중소기업들이 자본시장으로부터 필요한 투자를 받는데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 신용보증제도의 한 축을 담당하고 있는 기술보증기금에서 신용보증을 받고 있는 신용보증기업들에 대한 특성과 도산 요인에 대하여 분석하였다. 즉, 기존 연구에서는 신용보증효과에 대한 연구가 주류를 이루었지만, 본 연구는 기술보증기금에서 신용보증을 받는 기업들에 대해서 전국 중소기업들과 특성을 비교하고, 또한 도산과 연관된 요인들을 파악하고자 한다. 신용보증기업들은 표준비율의 중소기업들보다 재무가 건전하고 성장가능성이 높은 기업으로 나타났다. 그리고 재무비율 외에도 다른 특성들이 전국적인 분포와 다르다는 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 그러나 신생기업들이 많기 때문에 이러한 재무비율 정보가 제공되지 않고 객관적인 지표들의 제공에 한계가 있다.

영문 초록

The guarantee system has played an important role in small and medium businesses being invested from a capital market. This study has analyzed the characteristics and bankruptcy factors of the guaranteed small and medium businesses from the KIBO Technology Fund (KIBO) which is carried in the higher portion of the system. Mainly, the legacy studies has focused on credit guarantee effects and its development direction. But this study compared the characteristics of the guaranteed small and medium businesses from the KIBO with those of the general small and medium businesses in Korea, and found out the important variables which would bring to bankruptcy through associations. As a result, I found that the financial ratios of the guaranteed small and medium businesses was better than standard financial ratios of the general small and medium businesses.
