뇌선호도 측정도구들에 대한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 뇌선호도 측정도구를 활용한 연구들의 현황을 파악하고, 심리측정 이론적 측면에서 뇌선호도 측정도구는 무엇을 어떻게 측정하고 있는지를 살펴봄으로써 뇌선호도 측정도구의 개발과 활용을 위한 경험적이고 이론적인 근거를 제시하고자 하였다. 뇌선호도 측정도구의 적용 사례를 이론적 배경, 연구방법, 측정도구 출처 및 개발여부, 참가자 특성, 연구주제, 신뢰도, 타당도 제시여부의 범주에서 내용분석을 실시하였다. 또한 뇌선호도 측정도구들이 무엇을 어떻게 측정하고 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 네 가지 뇌선호도 측정도구들의 신뢰도와 타당도를 심리측정적인 측면에서 분석하였다. 그 결과 심리측정의 측면에서 뇌선호도 측정도구들의 신뢰도와 타당도가 그리 높지 않다는 것과 뇌선호도 측정도구의 활용에서 사용상의 적절성이 보장되지 않는다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과에 근거하여 신뢰롭고 타당한 뇌 인지기능 측정도구 개발과 활용의 방향성을 네 가지 측면에서 논의하여 뇌선호도 측정도구 개발을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity of brain preference indicators, specifically, BPI, HMI, SQM and SOLAT in psychometric perspectives. We analyzed what brain preference indicators were about and how they were utilized in various studies focusing on test content area, subject characteristics, sources of tests, reliability and validity information and item scale with content analysis technique. We performed item analysis statistically to confirm the reliability and validity of the tests using Cronbach s analysis, split-half reliability, correlation analysis for internal consistency, content validity, convergent validity and factor analysis. The results were following: the reliability was not high enough for the individual attribute measurement and the validity was very low resulting in very poor psychometric qualities of four brain preference indicators. On the basis of these results and other psychometric studies, we discussed the direction of developing future brain function measurement with four aspects : measurement considering 1) the principle of the multilevel brain activation with multidimensional psychological concepts, 2) the rigorous psychometric procedures, 3) the different cultural factors and 4) the contribution of human understanding as well as the brain study.
