국문 초록

Warner(1965)는 민감한 조사에서 모집단이 이지속성으로 구성되어 있을 때, 응답자의 신분이나 비밀을 노출시키지 않고서 민감한 질문에 대한 정보를 이끌어 내기 위한 이지 확률화응답모형을 제안하였다. 그리고 Abul-Ela et al.(1967)은 민감한 조사에서 모집단이 다지속성으로 구성되어 있는 경우에 민감한 다지속성을 추정하기 위한 다지 확률화응답모형을 제안하였으며, Eriksson (1973)은 다지 무관질문모형을 제안하기도 하였다. 본 논문에서는 조사하고자 하는 내용이 민감하고 모집단이 집락으로 구성되어 있으며 각 집락이 다지속성으로 되어 있을 때, Abul-Ela et al.(1967)의 다지모형과 Eriksson(1973)의 다지무관모형에서 사용한 단순임의추출법 대신에 2단계 집락추출법을 적용하여 다지속성에 대한 정보를 추정할 수 있는 2단계 집락 다지 확률화응답모형을 제안하였다. 그리고 일정한 비용 하에서 산포행렬을 최소화시키는 1단계 집락 수 및 2단계 조사단위 수의 최적값을 산출하였다. 또한 2단계 집락 다지 확률화응답모형들과 효율성을 비교한 결과 2단계 집락 Eriksson(1973)의 다지무관모형이 2단계 집락 Abul-Ela et al.의 다지모형보다 효율적이었다.

영문 초록

Warner (1965) first suggested an ingenious survey model called randomized response model (RRM) to estimate sensitive attribute proportion of population in a binomial situation by having the respondent answer ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to one of two questions selected at random. Abul-Ela et al. (1967) proposed a multi-proportions RRM which extended Warner’s model to the case where the population can be divided into t categories in which at least one and not more than (t-1) of them are stigmatizing and Eriksson (1973) suggested a unrelated multi-proportions RRM. If the population is consisted by clusters and sensitive characteristics are classified into multi categories, we should consider other sampling than simple random sampling. We propose a two stage cluster multi-proportions RRM by applying two stage cluster sampling instead of simple random sampling to the Abul-Ela et al. (1967)’s model and Eriksson (1973)’s. We derive optimum values for the numbers of 1st stage cluster and 2nd stage survey unit to minimize the dispersion matrix under the given cost and see that the Eriksson’s unrelated multi-proportions RRM is more efficiency than the Abul-Ela et al.’ model.
