수량화 2법 분석을 통한 농업인 업무상 질병 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2018년 농업인 업무상 질병 조사 자료를 기반으로 농업인의 업무상 질병 요인을 탐색하는 문제를 다루었다. 이를 위해 수량화 2법을 활용하였다. 농업인의 업무상 질병을 6개의 범주로 분류하여 6대 질환을 외적기준(종속변수)으로 설정하였고, 재범주화 과정을 거쳐 13개 변수를 내적기준(설명변수)으로 선정하였다. 분석 결과, 농업인의 6개 질환은 크게 2개의 부집단으로 그룹화 되었는데, ‘피부질환 대비 기타질환’과 ‘상지 근골격계질환 대비 허리 및 하지 근골격계질환’으로 외적기준이 구분되었다. 이들에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 작업환경의 위험요인, 농사유형, 잔병 경험유무 등이 선정되었다. 특히, 물리적 위험요인이 있는 작업환경은 허리 근골격계질환이나 하지 근골격계질환과 관련이 있었다. 또한, 밀폐된 환경에 노출되거나, 먼지/가스 흡입, 화학물질 취급, 작업장 불결 등의 위협 요인이 있으면, 상지 근골격계질환에 노출 될 위험이 큼을 볼 수 있었다. 논농사나 밭농사에 종사하는 농업인의 경우 허리 및 하지 근골격계질환이 많으며, 과수, 시설, 축산 농업의 경우에는 상지 근골격계질환과 관련이 높음을 볼 수 있었다. 한편, 농업인의 휴업 1일 이상 유병률은 4.8%로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In this study, based on the 2018 Korea farmers’ occupational disease and injury survey data, we used the quantification 2 method to explore the relationship between farmers diseases and various factors. As a result, six diseases of farmers were regrouped into two subgroups : (1) skin and infectious diseases vs other diseases (2) upper musculoskeletal diseases vs waist and lower musculoskeletal diseases. The factors affecting these diseases were the risk factors of the working environment, the type of farming, and the presence of residual disease. In particular, working environments with physical risk factors were associated with waist and lower musculoskeletal diseases. Exposure to confined environments, threats such as inhalation of dust/gases, chemical handling, and dirty workplace have been associated with upper musculoskeletal diseases. In addition, farmers who are engaged in rice or field farming have a lot of musculoskeletal diseases of the lower back and lower limbs, however fruit, facility, and livestock farming are associated with upper musculoskeletal diseases. On the other hand, the prevalence of disease that leads to closure for more than one day is 4.8%.
