국문 초록

本稿では、まず、韓国語との対応を用い、書き言葉における「だから」の 意味用法や特徴を把握し、話し言葉の場合とどのような側面が異なるのかを分析した。そして、金良宣(2017)で考察した、類似表現である「それで」とは具体的にどのような点が異なるのかを把握しようと試みた。その結果、次の3点が分かった。①書き言葉における「だから」は、順接、非順接(確認/逆接)、「順接∩非順接」(強調)の意味用法を表す。②話し言葉における「非順接」の「説得」と「フィラー」は表さない。③類似表現の「それで」と比べると、「確信性」と「順接性」は「だから」が、「接続詞としての独立性」と 「使用頻度」は「それで」が上回る。 以上により、書き言葉における「だから」の多様な意味用法が理解でき、 「だから」の文体差や類似表現である「それで」との相違点などが明らかになっていた。今後、「そして」なども含めた、いわゆる順接接続詞の全般的かつ体系的な比較研究が完成できることを期待する。

영문 초록

In this study, I have founded a variety of meaning uses in ‘DAKARA’ in written language. The result is summarized in the three following points. First, ‘DAKARA’ in written language may be validated by three meanings : ‘Causal conjunction’, ‘Causal conjunction∩Non casual conjunction(emphasis)’, ‘Non causal conjunction (confirmation/ adversative conjunction)’. Second, ‘DAKARA’ in written language refers to different characteristics in spoken language. In other words, there are differences which the uses of persuasion and fillers as the Non casual conjunction of ‘DAKARA’ in spoken language do not be expressed in written language. Third, it should be pointed out that in written language ‘DAKARA’ expresses speaker’s conviction and casuality of situation as a conjunction more usually than ‘SOREDE’, though ‘SOREDE’ is used as an independent conjunction more frequently than ‘DAKARA’. Although this study is intended for limited use cases of ‘DAKARA’, there will be some positive implications that could produce a general and systematic comparative study through further investigation. Especially, such results can highlight clear differences in basic documents to clarify between similar expressions such as ‘SOSITE’.
