스마트러닝에 대한 학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 인식 연구

국문 초록

블렌디드 러닝(Blended Learning), 플립드 러닝(flipped learning) 등을 활용한 교육의 장점이 알려지면서 한국어 교육에서도 이를 접목한 여러 교육과정들이 생겨나고 있다. 교수 중심의 일방향적인 수업이 아니라 학습자 중심 수업에 대한 기대와 관심이 높아지고 있는 현실에서 한국어 교육에서도 새로운 교육방법에 대한 도입과 그 시도가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 것이다. 기존의 강의 중심의 수업과 플립드 러닝을 적용한 수업은 교수자와 학습자의 역할에서부터 차이가 있다. 강의 중심 수업에서는 일반적으로 교수자들이 수업을 위한 강의 준비를 하는 것은 필수사항이며 학생들에게 과제를 부여했을 때 수행 여부는 학습자에게 있어 왔다. 그러나 플립드 러닝을 기반으로 한 수업에서는 학습자의 역할이 상당히 큰 비중을 차지하고 있으며 학습자는 수업 전에 제공한 받은 자료에 대해 사전 학습을 하고 이에 대한 질문을 준비해야 하는 적극적인 역할을 해야 한다. 한국어 학습자들이 학습의 주체로서 매체를 활용하여 선행학습을 자기 주도적으로 수행하고 이후 교실에서 이루어지는 강의에 참여할 수 있는지, 이러한 과제 수행 단계에서 어떠한 어려움이나 개선 요구는 없는지에 대한 파악이 이루어져야 할 것이며 한국어 학습에서 외국인 학습자들을 위한 매체 활용이 어떠한 방향으로 이루어지는 것이 바람직한가에 대한 고민은 인터넷 매체를 활용한 수업 모형의 적용과 실천, 그리고 그 결과에 매우 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 A 대학에서 교양한국어 과목을 수강하는 외국인 학습자들을 대상으로 학습에 있어서 인터넷 활용에 대한 인식을 조사하여 앞으로 한국어 교육에서의 블렌디드 러닝, 플립드 러닝 등의 인터넷 매체 활용의 적용 가능성과 보완책, 나아갈 방향 등을 탐색해 보았다. 본 실험의 결과로 학습자들이 현재 한국어 학습을 위해 사용하고 있는 인터넷 검색 엔진 및 애플리케이션(application)을 파악할 수 있었고 인터넷 매체나 애플리케이션을 활용한 한국어 수업에 대한 학습자의 인식을 파악할 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 매체 활용 한국어 수업이 앞으로 고려해야 하는 점들과 개선해야 하는 점들에 대해서도 밝혀냈다. 학습자들이 한국어 학습에 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 인터넷 매체를 활용한 후 한국어 수업에 대한 학습자들의 만족도를 측정하여 제시하였다.

영문 초록

As the merits of education that utilizes blended learning and flipped learning are becoming known, various educational courses that graft these methods are forming in Korean language education as well. As expectations and interest in learner-focused classes are increasing over one-way classes centered on teachers, the introduction of and attempts towards new educational methods are actively being made in Korean language education as well. Existing lecture-centered classes and classes that apply flipped learning differ, beginning from the roles of teachers and learners. In lecture-centered classes, teachers must generally prepare lectures for classes as an essential point and when students are given assignments, they are responsible for carrying them out. However, in classes based on flipped learning, the role of learners has great importance and learners study material that they are provided with before classes beforehand and they must fill the active role of preparing related questions. Korean language learners utilize media as the main agents of learning, perform self-directed learning with regard to prior learning, and must figure out whether they can participate in lectures that take place in classrooms along with whether there are any difficulties or improvement demands in such assignment fulfillment stages. Deep thoughts given to which directions are the proper ones to take in media application for foreign learners in Korean language learning can greatly affect the application and practice of class models that utilize internet media and their results. At this, this study surveyed foreign learners taking liberal arts Korean language classes at A University on their perceptions regarding the utilization of the internet in learning to explore the applicability, supportive measures, and future direction of internet media utilization such as blended learning and flipped learning in Korean language learning. With the results of this experiment, internet search engines and apps currently being used in Korean language learning by learners could be figured out along with learner perceptions regarding Korean language classes that utilize the internet or apps. Also, light was shed upon considerations and improvements that must be made in the future regarding media utilizing Korean language classes. Internet media, which was perceived to have a positive effect on Korean language learning by learners, was applied, and learner satisfaction of Korean language classes was measured and presented.
