This study revisited a K-E translation course with reference to a team-based learning that is widely applied to interpreting and translating courses of B-University. Theoretically, translating is a wide spectrum of language transfer. It implies that message conveyance can differ. During this learning course, translating a source language into a target language was performed through a team-based learning and course participants showed their high interest and many positive effects in learning translation skills: learners’ passive learning attitude is turned into active learners; learners’ social skill is elevated doing their team-based tasks; their self-directed learning attitude is strengthened; logic and critic thinking skills are promoted doing their cooperative team-based learning courses. In a nutshell, translating course-takers responded positive awareness the significance of a wide range of translating message spectrums that can be applied to translating skills through team-based cooperative learning tasks.
