청소년의 도박행동에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년 도박행동 실태를 파악하고, 도박행동 경험 유무에 따른 청소년의 특성, 비합리적 도박신념, 스트레스의 차이를 파악하며, 청소년의 도박행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 J도내 4개 고등학교 학생 296명을 대상으로, 2017년 11월 9일부터 15일에 걸쳐 자가보고식 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 대상자 중 최소 0.3%에서 최대 29.1%까지 도박경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대상자의 비합리적 도박신념은 평균 20.72±8.43점, 스트레스는 평균 88.09±28.70점이었다. 도박행동 경험 유무는 성별, 학년, 친구도박행동, 아버지 도박행동 및 자아 스트레스의 정도에 따라 차이가 있었다. 도박행동에는 친구도박행동이 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 요인이었으며, 친구도박행동이 월1회 이상인 경우가 월1회 미만인 경우보다 1.86배 정도 도박행동 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 본 연구모형의 설명력은 41.3%이었다. 본 연구는 청소년 도박문제를 감소시키고 또래집단 환경의 변화와 도박중독의 폐해와 심각성을 알릴 수 있도록 주기적인 도박문제 예방교육이 시행되어야 할 필요성을 제기하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate current status of adolescents gambling behavior and to investigate whether irrational gambling beliefs and stresses affect adolescents gambling behaviors. The study examined 296 students who are students in 4 high schools in J-Do. The data was collected from Nov 9 to Nov 15, 2017 using self-report questionnaires. The data were analyzed by the SPSS WIN 21.0 Statistics. Results: It was showed that at least 0.3% to 29.1% of the subjects had gambling experience. The Irrational gambling belief 20.72 points on average, stress was average 88.09 points. Gambling behavior with or without gambling behaviors showed that gender, grade, friend gambling behavior, father gambling behavior, and self-stress affected gambling behavior. For regression analysis, friend gambling behavior were proven to have an significant impact on adolescents gambling behavior. It was found that the probability of gambling behavior was 1.86 times higher than that of less than once a month when the friend gambling behavior was more than once a month. The variance accounted for adolescent gambling behavior was found to be 41.3%. This study is significant that in order to decrease adolescents gambling problem and inform the change of the peer group environment and the harmfulness and seriousness of gambling addition, periodic gambling problem prevention education should be implemented.
