국문 초록

본 연구는 주제중심학습을 위한 ‘점프리더’ 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 자 기주도적 학습력과 통합적 사고성향을 종속변인으로 하여 그 변화를 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 초등학교 1, 2학년 학생들을 실험집단과 비교집 단으로 구분하여 6개월간 프로그램을 투입하였으며, 실험집단과 비교집단 간의 차 이를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 실험집단은 비교집단에 비하여 자기주도적 학습력과 통합적 사고성향 이 유의미하게 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 학생들의 통합적 사고력과 자기주 도적 학습능력은 교육의 본질적 목적에 속하는 내용으로서 이러한 능력이 주제중 심학습을 통해 향상될 수 있다는 것이 본 연구를 통해 검증되었으며, 현재 학교교 육에서 주제중심학습을 통한 교육활동이 적극 권장되어야 함을 시사받을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of thematic integrated learning on the self-directed learning ability and the integrated thinking disposition of the elementary school children. To examine that, the pre and post experimental design was administrated. The main results of the research were as follows : First, the thematic integrated learning(Jump Leader program) was effective increasing the self-directed learning. Second, the thematic integrated learning(Jump Leader program) was effective increasing the integrated thinking disposition. specially, self-concept on learning and productive skeptical disposition were significantly different between the test group and the control group. Newly developed Jump Leader program was acceptable as thematic integrated learning program. And it is required to develop the thematic integrated learning program in various themes and grades.
