국문 초록

본 논문은 인성 교육을 구현하기 위한 도덕 교과 교육과정의 편성 방향을 마련하 고자 첫째, 이론적 근거에 따라 인성 교육의 접근 방법을 모색하고, 둘째, 2009 개정 교육과정의 분석을 통하여 현 도덕 교과 교육과정의 문제점을 도출하였으며, 셋째, 개선 방안을 마련하고자 독일 도덕 교육과정의 사례를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 본 연구 에서는 다음과 같이 도덕 교과 교육과정의 편성 방향에 대하여 제언하고자 한다. 첫 째, 도덕 교과 교육과정은 도덕 교과에 국한하지 않고 초․중등 교육과정에 해당되 는 모든 교과 및 교과외 활동의 인성 교육과 관련된 교육과정을 제공할 수 있도록 역할과 위상이 확립되어야 한다. 둘째, 도덕 교과 교육과정은 초등학교 저학년에서 는 덕목의 실천과 습관화에서 중점을 두되, 초등학교 5∼6학년부터 그 의미를 분석 하고 합리성을 검증해나가는 자율성 중심 접근으로 변화되어야 한다. 셋째, 교수․ 학습 방법에서 인성 교육의 방법이 도덕 교과 교육에 국한되지 않고 인성 교육이 요 구되는 장면에서 폭넓게 활용될 수 있도록 절차적으로 제시되어야 한다. 또한 교사 의 역할은 학생들의 사고를 허용하고 격려하는 방향으로 변화되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to plan the future directions of the moral education curriculum to be realized the humanism education. This study focused on three research contents. First, the approach methods of the humanism education were induced by the moral development theories. Second, the current problems of moral education curriculum were found out by the analysis of 2009 national curriculum. Third, the directions for the improvement were reasoned out by Hessen s new curriculum. The result of this study is like these. First, the approach methods of the humanism education has to be different according to the students moral development : the practices of the values and virtues has to be centered in the lower grades in the elementary school and the learners autonomy has to be beefed up from the 5th∼6th grades. Second, the curricular roles and status of the moral education curriculum has to be intensified to give rough provisions for the humanism education within the sphere of all the subjects and extra-curricular in the elementary and secondary schools. Third, the procedural teaching-learning methods has to be suggested to use in the moral education and any other activities related to the humanism education. In addition to this, the role of teachers for the humanism education has to be changed as a supporter to encourage students to think the moral problems in accordance with their belief and compare with others without the external pressure.
