플립러닝 적용을 위한 수업 설계 및 운영 전략 연구

국문 초록

본 사례 연구는 대학의 문제풀이형 수업에 플립러닝을 적용할 때 고려해야 할 설계 및 운영 전략을 규명하기 위하여 수행한 형성적 연구이다. 먼저, 선행 문헌 연구를 통해 플립러닝 수업 설계 및 운영 전략의 ‘초안’을 도출한 후에, K대학의 ‘미적분 학2’ 수업에 3주간 적용하였고, 교수자 및 학습자 면담과 전문가 검토를 통해 ‘수정안’과 ‘최종안’을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 도출된 주요 전략으로는, 먼저, 철저한 수업 분석과 설계를 통해 학습자의 출발점 수준을 확인하고, 그에 맞는 학습내용을 제공 하며, 사전학습 자료는 학습목표와 개념, 문제풀이 설명, 예시문제를 함께 제시해야 한다. 또한, 수학 교실 수업에서는 협력학습보다는 개별학습을 할 수 있는 활동을 설계하되, 적용 활동을 위해서는 난이도별로 다양한 문제를 제시해야 한다. 마지막으 로, 수업 시작 전에 참여자들의 충분한 이해를 위해 플립러닝 교수-학습방법에 대한 사전 안내를 실시해야 한다. 본 사례 연구는 실제 수업에 플립러닝을 적용하는 과정에서 수집한 교수자 및 학습자의 의견을 반영함으로써 보다 현장 적합성이 높은 구 체적이고 실증적인 설계 및 운영 전략을 도출했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 향후 관련 실제 및 연구에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop teaching strategies for flipped classroom of problem solving math class, and to seek the effect of it. As the students in class have different advance learning level of mathematics, it is hard to teach them by serving a lecture. For the solution, researcher suggest to apply Flipped learning teaching method in math class. To apply Flipped learning in math class, there is a need of a specialized teaching strategies for it. Using formative research methodology including experts’ review and the instructor and students’ feedback, this study developed teaching strategies for flipped classroom of problem solving math class. After the application, researcher found out the effect of the flipped classroom by interviewing instructor and students and surveying about the class. For the result, firstly, flipped learning teaching method is effective in math class to overcome the difficulty of the class which students’ have different learning level. Secondly, it is effective to solve the problems occur because of the limited class hour. Thirdly, students are satisfied with the flipped classroom and they prefer flipped class rather than lecturing class. Fourthly, learning material given before the class is very helpful in students’ learning process. Fifthly, collaborative learning method is ineffective in flipping math class, and lastly, it is effective to present diverse levels of the mathematical problem.
