국문 초록

본 연구는 해외 유학생들의 사회 교류를 통한 VFR 관광자원으로서 지역에서의 역할 수반에 관한 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 해외 유학생들이 지역에 대한 애착을 형성하는데 학교와 지역사회의 네트워크가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 밝혔고, 이로 인해 형성된 지역 애착이 VFR 초청자 역할 수행에 미치는 영향관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 아울러, 개인적 성향의 특징인 인지적 종결 욕구를 조절 변수로 사용하여 VFR 초청자 역할에 미치는 영향 관계를 검증하고자 한다. 분석결과, 학교 내 연계형 사회자본, 거주 지역 연계형 사회자본, 거주 지역 결속형 사회자본은 지역애착에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤지만, 학교 내 결속형 사회자본은 유의하지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 지역 애착이 클수록 온라인 구전은 활성화되었지만, 인지적 종결욕구는 이 관계에서 조절효과가 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 지역 애착과 초청의도 간 긍정적인 영향관계가 밝혀졌고, 해외 유학생의 인지적 종결욕구에 따른 집단 간 차이가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 이를 통해서 해외 유학생이 학업 목적지에서 형성하는 인간관계가 VFR 초청자 역할 수행에 긍정적 효과를 발생시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학교와 지역사회에서 VFR 관광 인적자원으로서 지역관광 발전에 기여함을 시사점으로 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of international students on the tourism industry of the destination of study through various exchanges and activities in schools and local community. Therefore the study set the following purposes. First, the study examined that the social capital formed by the overseas students in the schools and the local community is the cause of improving the local attachment. It is divided into briding social capital and bonding social capital. Second, the study analyzed the structural relationship of local attachment to eWOM and VFR invitation intention. Third, the study analyzed that the moderating effect of need for cognitive closure in order to enhance eWOM and willingness to invite friends and relatives. As a result, it was found that the bridging social capital of school and community had a positive effect on the local attachment. Bonding social capital of local community influences local attachment, but bonding social capital of school does not. Local attachment has positive effects on eWOM and VFR invitation intentions. In addition, the need for cognitive closure appeared to have a moderating effect on local attachment and willingness to invite friends and relatives.
