온라인 학습 공동체(OLC)를 활용한 실과 교수학습 아동의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 온라인 학습 공동체(Online Learning Community; OLC)를 구성하여 학생들이 온라인상에서 글․사진․영상․채팅․댓글 등을 통해 의견을 나누면서 실과학습을 하였을 때, 자아존중감에 어떠한효과가 있는지 검증해 보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구는 실험연구방법을 사용하였으며, 본 연구에서 사용된 검사도구는 황성우(2008) 등의 설문지를 참조하여, 사회적 자아존중감, 가정적 자아존중감, 학교 자아존중감, 총체적 자아존중감의 4개 하위요인으로 구성하였다. 연구의 대상은 경기도 의정부시 소재 K 초등학교 5학년생들이었으며, 사전 ․ 사후 2차례에 걸쳐 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 14.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 자료의 분석 결과 및 결론은 다음과 같다. 온라인 학습 공동체를 활용한 실과 교수․학습활동이 아동의 자아존중감에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 알아보기 위해 실시한 사후검사 결과 온라인 학습 공동체를 활용한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 더 큰 폭으로 자아존중감 평균이 증가하였으며, 학교 자아존중감(p<.001)과 자아존중감 총점(p<.01)은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 온라인 학습 공동체를 활용한 교수-학습이 사회적․가정적 자아존중감에는 큰 영향을 미치지 못하는 걸로 보이며, 오히려 가정적 자아존중감에 있어서는 약간 감소하는 결과를 가져오기도 했다. 온라인 학습 공동체를 활용한 실과 교수-학습활동이 자아존중감 총점과 학교 자아존중감, 특히 학교 자아존중감을 높이는 데는 매우 효과적임을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of OLC(Online Learning Community) activities on children s Self-Esteem and Sociality Development when they talking opinion through on-line article, picture, image, chatting, etc. This study used investigation method of study, and an questionnaire that use in this study refered questionnaire of Hwangseongu(2008). The questionnaire was divided into two sections: Self-Esteem and Sociality Development Subject of this study was K elementary school 5 year students in Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi province. The data that collected over 2 times was analyzed using SPSSWIN 14.0. The result of this study are as follows; When analysing the effect of OLC on self-esteem, the experimental group who performed OLC activities increased self-esteem average more drastically than control group, The experimental group also showed statistically significant difference on scholastic self-esteem overall self-esteem compared with the control group. Therefore, we can know OLC as a Supplementary Educational Environment for the Practical Arts Teaching and Learning is effective to improve student s scholastic self-esteem and overall self-esteem. Therefore, this study revealed that OLC activities compared practice class effects unpreparedness(Or negative) in homely self-esteem and personal relations but can enhance cooperativeness and scholastic self-esteem.
