AHP를 활용한 초등실과교육과정에 적합한 생활 속의 동물 선정

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등실과 교과에서 <동물 기르기> 단원에 적합한 동물과 동물 선정에 영향을 주는 속성을 조사한 다음 계층적 분석과정을 활용하여 기르기 단원에 적합한 동물을 선정하였다. 기르기 단원과 관련된 동물의 종류와 속성은 선행 연구 참고, 전문교수의 조언, 동료교사와의 협의를통해 선정하였다. 먼저 동물은 애완동물과 경제동물로 분류하였다. 최종 선정된 애완동물은 8종류로 분류하여 31가지 선정, 경제동물은 15가지 선정, 속성은 경제동물과 애완동물 각각 14가지씩 선정하였다. 1차 설문에서는 기르기에 적합한 동물을 선정하는데 영향을 주는 속성과 각 속성에 따른 동물들의 선호도를 조사하고 2차 설문에서는 계층적 분석과정을 활용하여 상대적 중요도와 종합 가중치를 구하여 자료를 분석하였다. 애완동물에 대한 분석 결과 사육의 즐거움, 수명, 정서적 안정 속성에서는 개가 선정되었으며, 청결성, 먹이, 안전성 속성에서는 금붕어가 선정되었다. 경제동물에 대한 분석 결과 경제성, 먹이, 수명, 성장성 속성에서는 소가 선정되었고 사육의 즐거움, 청결성에서는 토끼가 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 계층적 분석과정을 활용한 동물 기르기 단원에 가장 적합한 애완동물은 개이고 경제동물은 소가 선정되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to select the most suitable animal for ‘Raising Animals’ unit from elementary-school practical arts, and AHP was employed to select the appropriate animal. The purpose of this study is to provide elementary data for the animal raising study in the new modified practical arts textbook. The animal species and properties related to breeding were selected in the light of related past studies, professional advices, and discussions among colleague teachers. Animals were first classified as fostering pets and livestock animals, then were further categorized into 8 different fostering pet types with 31 selections, and selected 15 livestock animals. 14 properties were decided for both the fostering pets and livestock animals. In the first questionnaires, properties responsible for selecting appropriate animals to raise and the preference of animals according to the properties were surveyed. In the second questionnaires, the relative importance and overall weight were analyzed using AHP. The result from analyzing fostering pets showed that dogs scored the highest in the enjoyment in raising , lifespan , and mental stability properties, while goldfish scored highest in the cleanliness , food , and safety properties. The result from analyzing livestock animals that cattle scored highest in the economic feasibility , food , lifespan , and growth properties, while rabbits scored highest in the enjoyment in raising and cleanliness properties. In this study using AHP, dogs and cattle were selected as the most suitable house pet and cash livestock for the ‘Raising Animals’ unit in elementary practical arts, respectively.
