자기통제력이 스마트폰 중독과 관광고등학교 생활적응에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

최근 스마트폰이 청소년들에게 손쉽게 보급되기 시작하면서 청소년들의 스마트폰 사용으로 인한 문제가 사회적으로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 현상은 청소년들의 가정은 물론 학교생활에서도 문제가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 관광고등학교 학생을 대상으로 첫째, 자기통제력이 스마트폰 중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 둘째, 자기통제력이 학교생활적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 셋째, 스마트폰 중독이 학교생활적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 관계에 대하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울특별시에 소재한 관광고등학교를 대상으로 2014년 11월 20일부터 11월 26일까지 총 800부의 설문지를 배포하였으며, 659부의 설문지가 회수되었다. 수집된 설문지 중 비응답되었거나 부실하게 응답한 58부를 제외한 총 601개 데이터를 이용하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 자기통제력은 스마트폰 중독에 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 자기통제력이 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향도 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 스마트폰 중독이 학교생활 적응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다.

영문 초록

As smarphones became widely available to adolescents these days, in society problems caused by smartphones used by teenagers are on the rise. The phenomenon has become problematic not only in their homes but also in schools. Thus, this study conducted a survey of tourism high school students and examined the relations of(1) how self-control influenced smartphone addiction, (2) how self-control influenced adaptability to school life, and (3) how smartphone addiction influenced adaptability to school life. To achieve the goal of the study, a total of 800 surveys were distributed to tourism high schools located in the city of Seoul from November 20 to November 26, 2014, of which 659 surveys were collected. Out of the collected surveys, 58 surveys that included non-responding or insufficient contents were dropped, thus a total of 610 data were used for empirical analyses. As a result, self-control significantly influenced smartphone addiction; self-control also significantly influenced adaptability to school life, and smartphone addiction significantly influenced adaptability to school life.
