국문 초록

본 연구에서는 생태관광동기가 여가만족과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향관계를 규명하여 여가 및 관광정책 수립에 전략적 시사점을 제시하고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생태관광 동기는 자연학습과 감상, 휴식, 친목성의 세 가지 요인으로 구분되었으며, 세 가지 요인 중 야생동물(조류) 관찰, 환경인지, 자연생태지 감상인 ‘자연감상 및 학습’ 요인만이 여가만족과의 유의적인 영향관계가 있는 것으로 연구결과 검증되었으며, ‘휴식’과 ‘친목’ 요인은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여가만족은 삶의 질에 유의적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Ecotourist motivation was divided into three factors. These were learning from nature, time to rest, and socializing with others. These three factors were then investigated further to determine what impact they we on ecotourists' leisure satisfaction These latter two factors were looked at to determine how they effect the quality of life of ecotourists. In the literature, and elsewhere, ecotourism is regarded as one of the most important factors for sustainable tourism in the 21st Century. Thus, many countries we developed ecotourist infrastructure and policy, not only to conserve their environment and to improve local residental economies, but also to diversify and improve tour industry options for potential visitors. It is necessary for ecotourism planners and marketers to grasp ecotourists' motivation for visiting such spots and their leisure satisfaction while being there Moreover, quality of life considerations by the ecotourist must also be investigated if ecotourism is going to flourish in this new millenium.
