국문 초록

본 연구는 여가공간 개발의 경제적, 사회문화적, 환경적 요인에 대한 영향인식과 이에 따른 지역주민의 개발태도를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 실증분석 결과 첫째, 지역관광개발의 개발혜택에 따른 지역주민의 태도에 미치는 영향 관계를 검증한 결과 경제적 혜택은 개발태도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회ㆍ문화적 혜택과 환경적 혜택은 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 지역관광개발의 개발비용은 지역주민의 개발태도에 미치는 영향관계를 살펴본 결과 소득증가, 물가의 상승, 교통체증 혼란, 범죄 유발, 자연경관 훼손, 쓰레기 증가 등 개발에 따른 비용은 개발태도에 유의미한 영향관계가 나타나지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 지역관광개발의 개발혜택과 개발태도의 관계에서 개발정책지원의 조절효과를 검증한 결과 지역주민이 사업주체로부터 얻는 개발혜택과 태도와의 영향관계는 지원정책과 적극적인 추진 등 개발정책지원에 의해 달라질 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 지역관광개발의 개발비용과 개발태도의 관계에서 개발정책지원의 조절효과 검증 결과 사업주체들의 적극적인 사업추진 등 개발정책지원은 경제적 비용에 의해 개발태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 조절변수인 개발정책지원이 높을수록 개발태도는 높아지므로 경제적 비용에 의해 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to investigate influencing factors in terms of economy, social culture, and environment resulting from development of leisure space and to explore the attitude of local people toward leisure space development. The results of the study are as follows: 1. With respect to relationship between local people's attitude and influencing factors, economic benefits were found to be negative impact on locals' attitude toward development. On the other hand, social/cultural and environments benefits were positively attributed to locals' attitude. 2. The development costs involved in local tourism (e.g., increases in living costs, crime rates, wastes, and deterioration of natural beauty) did not significant impact on the attitude of local people. 3. The results of moderating effects of development support programs showed that the relationship between the attitude of local people and tangible development benefits from the project owners was found to be influenced by various development support programs. 4. It was analyzed that the development support programs positively influenced the local people's attitude toward development of the community through economic costs.
