도시관광개발에 있어서 관광서비스 차별화 우선순위결정에 관한 연구

국문 초록

도시관광개발에 있어서 관광서비스 차별화 우선순위를 결정하기 위한 구체적인 연구 목표로 차별화 영역의 기준을 설정하고, 그에 따른 차별화 대상과 구성요소의 중요도와 우선순위를 분석하고자 하였다. 그러기 위해서는 우선적으로 도시관광개발 관련내용들을 이론적으로 구명하였고, 관광개발 관련 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 이를 통계적으로 분석하는 실증적 분석방법을 병행하였다. 실증분석을 위한 조사대상은 관광개발ㆍ관광정책 관련 학자와 연구원, 민간부문 관광개발 관련 전문가, 도시관광개발에 적극적인 지방자치단체의 관광개발행정 실무를 담당하고 있는 공무원 등으로 하였다. 표본 크기는 210부이었고, 회수된 설문지 143부 가운데 부적합한 설문지 23부를 제외한 120부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 조사기간은 2009년 6월 8일부터 7월 17일까지 실시하였다. 분석방법은 계층분석적 의사결정법(Analytic Hierarchy Process; AHP)을 활용하였고, 분석프로그램은 Expert Choice 11.5를 사용하였다. 질적 도시관광개발을 위해서는 개발주체들이 관광잠재력이 큰 서비스 내용을 설정한다든지, 자신들만의 고유한 관광서비스를 발굴한다든지 함과 동시에 특화된 관광서비스 기능을 최대한 발휘할 수 있도록 관광서비스 차별화에 대한 상대적 중요도와 우선순위를 평가하는 것도 중요하다고 보고 분석한 결과, 우선 도시관광개발사업의 관광서비스 차별화 영역들 가운데 인적 서비스 활용이 상대적 중요도 0.391로 우선순위 1위였다. 다음은 물적 서비스 활용이 상대적 중요도 0.310으로 우선순위 2위였다. 마지막으로 관광정보서비스 활용이 상대적 중요도 0.299로 우선순위 3위였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the priorities with respect to the decision making for differentiation of tourism service in the urban tourism development. As a theoretical research, this study reviews the domain and the assessment system of the differentiation of urban tourism service. The data used in this thesis is collected from tourism development specialists. Through a preliminary investigation 210 lists of questions were distributed from May 8, 2009 to July 10, 2009 and from among them 120 lists were used. Expert Choice 11.5 was used to do pairwise comparisons and priorities assessment. Based upon the results of empirical analysis, the priority order sets of the differentiation of urban tourism service should be related to the human service, the physical service, and the information service. The priority order sets on the practical use of tourism resources in physical service should be related to the genuine culture resources, the sustainable nature resources, the unique industry resources, and the picnic recreation resources. The priority order sets on the practical use of tourism facilities in physical service should be related to the optimum of expense, the diversity of composition, the convenience of utilization, and the accessibility of facilities. The priority order sets on the tourism cognition of the host in human service should be related to the improvement of leisure welfare, the participation of spontaneous tourism activities, the favour attitude for tourist, and the tourism application of human resources. The priority order sets on the service level of the tourism worker in human service should be related to the service satisfaction, the service quality, the service atmosphere, and the service genuineness. The priority order sets on the contents of tourism information in information service should be related to the information reliance, the information originality, the fitness of level, and the differentiation of contents. The priority order sets on the system of tourism information operation in information service should be related to the benefit of information utilization, the rationality of operation cost, the simpleness of information use, and the ordinary times of information supply.
