호텔 종사자의 체면민감성과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움의 영향관계에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 호텔 종사자의 체면민감성이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 체면민감성과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움간의 관계에서 자아존중감의 조절역할을 규명함으로써 체면민감성과 부정적 평가에 대한 효율적인 관리방안을 제공하고자 하는 목적에서 진행되었다. 이를 위해서 서울시 특 1급 호텔에 재직 중인 호텔 종사자들을 조사대상으로 하여 총 400부의 설문지를 배포하여 372부의 표본을 실증분석에 활용하였다. 자료분석은 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과도출에 의한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 호텔 종사자의 체면민감성과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움의 영향관계를 분석한 결과 타인의식성, 창피의식성, 형식의식성 순으로 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 호텔 종사자의 체면민감성이 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움에 미치는 영향관계에서 자아존중감은 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted in the purpose of investigating the influence of social face sensitivity of hotel employees on fear of negative evaluation of subordinate employees and providing efficient management methods between social face sensitivity of hotel employees and fear of negative evaluation by examining the role of regulation of self-esteem in the relationship between them. In doing so, total 400 copies of questionnaires were distributed to employees who worked in first-class luxury hotels located in Seoul and 372 copies of samples were used in empirical analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistic analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted. The implications according to the result of the study are as follows: in the analysis of influence relationship between social face sensitivity of employees and fear of negative evaluation in hotel, self-conscious shame, self-conscious low esteem and social formality had significant influence on the fear of negative evaluation; in the analysis of influence of social face sensitivity of employees on fear of negative evaluation, it was found that self-esteem had regulation effect.
