영아보육교사의 전문성 인식과 전문성 발달수준에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 경기도에 소재한 어린이집 영아반 교사들을 대상으로 전문성 인식과 전문성발달수준에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 영아보육교사들의 전문성 인식과 전문성발달 수준을 일반적 경향과 개인변인, 근무환경 변인에 따라 살펴보고, 전문성 인식과 전문성 발달수준간의 상관관계를 알아보아 바람직한 전문영아보육교사로서의 역할을 수행하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 영아보육교사의 전문성 인식은 개인변인에서는 연령과 근무경력, 결혼여부, 교사선택계기, 교사직 만족에 따라서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 근무환경 변인에서는 근무기관 유형과 보수에 따라서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 영아보육교사의 전문성 발달수준은 개인변인에서 학력과 교사연수와 재교육, 교사선택계기, 교사직 만족에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 전문성 발달수준은 근무환경 변인으로 근무기관과 보수, 학급수에서는 유의미한 차이가 있지만 근무시간과 학급연령에 따라서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 영아보육교사의 전문성 인식과 전문성 발달수준간의 전체 상관관계는 매우 긍정적으로 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 전문성 인식이 높을수록 전문성의 발달수준이 높게 나타난다는 것을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to investigate how the infant educare teacher's recognition of professionalism and professional development level according to variables perceived. The data collected from 349 infant educare teachers in Gyunggi-Do. first of all, we check individual variables and working environment variables affecting their recognition of professionalism and professional development level, then we calibrate correlation of 2 factors. Doing so, we willing support basic data to enhance infant educare teacher’s recognition of professionalism and professional development level. As tool of check recognition of professionalism, we used modified scale of recognition of professionalism made by Kim YuJin(2003), Shin JangMi(2007), Wi SookHee(2008), for teacher‘s professional development level, we used modified scale of professional development level made by Yi KyungDon(2010) that developed by Back EunJu, Jo BuGyeong(2004). We found there is significant difference caused by individual variables as age, experiences, marital status, selected motivation of teacher, job satisfaction on infant educare teacher's recognition of professionalism. Working environment variables as working facilities, salary crate some meaningful difference. Professional development level is significant difference caused by individual variables(academic background, teacher training, selected motivation of teacher, job satisfaction, marital status, experiences), and working environment variables(working facilities, salary, number of classes). 2 factors are in very close correlation and higher teacher's recognition of professionalism stimulates better teacher‘s professional development level
