3-5세 연령별 누리과정의 내용 적절성에 대한 어린이집교사의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집의 3-5세 누리과정 담임교사를 대상으로 누리과정의 주요구성 방향, 목적 및 목표, 5개 영역별 내용 적절성에 대한 어린이집교사의 인식을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울․경기도․강원도지역에 근무하는 어린이집교사 288명을 대상으로 3-5세 누리과정 해설서에 제시된 주요구성 방향, 목적 및 목표, 5개 영역별 내용을 토대로 선행연구를 참고하여 설문지를 구성하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어린이집교사의 3-5세 연령별 누리과정 주요구성방향의 내용 적절성에 대한 인식은 ‘신체․운동건강, 의사소통, 사회관계, 예술경험, 자연탐구의 5개 영역을 중심으로 구성 한다’에서 적절성에 대한 인식이 가장 높게 나타났다. 특히 25세 미만의 교사가 연령이 높은 교사보다 주요구성 방향의 모든 내용에서 적절성에 대한 인식이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집교사의 3-5세 연령별 누리과정의 목적 및 목표의 내용 적절성에 대한 인식은, ‘일상생활의 필요한 의사소통 능력과 바른 언어 사용 습관을 기른다.’의 목표에서 적절성에 대한 인식이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어린이집 교사의 3-5세 연령별 누리과정의 영역별 내용 적절성에 대한 인식은 신체운동․건강영역의 내용 중 ‘건강하게 생활하기’를, 의사소통영역의 내용 중‘듣기’를, 사회관계영역의 내용 중 ‘나와 다른 사람의 감정 알고 조절하기’를, 예술경험영역의 내용 중‘아름다움 찾아보기’를, 자연탐구영역의 내용 중‘과학적 탐구하기’에서 적절성에 대한 인식이 가장 높게 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study intended to identify the main composition direction of Nuri curriculum, purpose and goal, and perception on the appropriacy of contents by 5 domain-specific contents. To do so, this study composed a questionnaire in reference to the precedent studies based on the main composition direction suggested in a handbook of Nuri curriculum of 3-5 years, purpose and goal, and contents by 5 areas around 288 child care center teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon-do. First, the highest relevance of perception was shown on 'Five central areas of comprised of physical․exercise health, communication, social relationship, and nature exploration' by child care center teacher's perception regarding content adequacy of the main content's direction of three to five year Nuri curriculum by age group. Especially, teachers under 25 years old showed higher perception regarding adequacy in all content of main content direction than older teachers. Second, for perception on the appropriacy of the purpose and goal of Nuri curriculum by age of 3-5 years, it was identified that the child care center teachers showed the highest perception level on the purpose of 'child care center teachers develop necessary communication skill in everyday life and habit of using proper and correct language.' Third, for perception on the appropriacy of the purpose and goal of Nuri curriculum by age of 3-5 years, 'to live healthy' showed highest perception level among contents of the physical exercise․health area, 'listening' among contents of the communication area, 'to know and work with other people's feelings' among contents of the social relation area, 'to find beauty' among contents of the art experience area, and 'to conduct scientific investigation' among nature inquiry area.
