3, 4, 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 수학적 탐구하기 활동의 연계성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 3-5세 누리과정 수학적 탐구하기 세부 내용과 교사용 지도서 수학적 탐구하기 활동의 연계성을 살펴봄으로써 효율적인 유아수학교육과정 운영의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 3-5세 누리과정 수학적 탐구하기 세부 내용과 3, 4, 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서 33권에 포함된 수학적 탐구하기 활동 278개이다. 수학적 탐구하기 세부 내용 연계성 분석은 송순희 외(1991) 연구의 반복, 발전, 격차 준거를 사용하였고, 수학적 탐구하기 활동 연계성 분석은 3, 4, 5세 수학적 탐구하기 세부 내용을 분석 준거로 사용하였다. 3, 4, 5세 수학적 탐구하기의 세부 내용은 발전적 연계 15회, 반복적 연계 4회로 나타났다. 278개 활동 중 수학적 탐구하기 관련요소 2개가 한 활동에 포함된 활동 5개를 추가하여 283개의 활동 가운데 64개(22.6%) 활동이 연계되지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 수와 연산의 기초개념 알아보기 활동은 76개 중 16개(21.1%), 공간과 도형의 기초개념 알아보기 활동은 111개 중 24개(21.6%), 기초적인 측정하기는 18개 활동 중 4개(22.2%), 규칙성 이해하기는 22개중 7개(31.8%), 기초적인 자료 수집과 결과 나타내기는 56개 중 13개(23.2%)가 연계 되지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 3, 4, 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서의 수학적 탐구하기 활동에 대한 제한점이며, 그 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide basis for more effective early childhood mathematics curriculum by evaluating the articulation between the mathematical activities in Nuri teacher’s guide books for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. In this study, 278 mathematical activities from 33 Nuri teacher’s guide books for 3, 4, and 5 year olds were analyzed. The tools used for articulation analysis were compliance of repetition, development, difference based on research by Soon-Hi Song (1991) and detailed contents of mathematical exploration for 3, 4, and 5 Year Olds. Detailed contents of mathematical exploration for 3, 4, and 5 year olds demonstrated 15 developmental articulation and 4 repetitive articulation. Of the 278 mathematical activities, including 5 activities with 2 related mathematical exploration, 64 (22.6%) activities of the 283 showed no relations. There was no articulation among the 7 (31.8%) of the 22 understanding of pattern activities, 13 (23.2%) of the 56 basic data collection and results activities, 4 (22.2%) of the 18 basic measuring activities, 24 (21.6%) of the 111 spatial and geometric activities, and 16 (21.1%) of the 76 numbers and operations activities. The results demonstrate the limitations of mathematical activities at the Nuri curriculum of national level, and the study further discusses the problems in their improvement.
