국문 초록

박경리 <토지>는 반자연적인 인성, 반자연적인 환경에 대해 비판한다. 일본 제국주의 문화는 생명을 파괴하는 칼의 문화이기에 비판하고, 조선의 문화는 창조에 그 힘을 살린 생명지향적인 문화이기에 옹호한다. 이런 생태의식은 <토지>에서 조선의 자연과 여성을 능동적․주체적으로 그리는 원동력이 되었다. 그리하여 <토지>는 유기체적 세계관을 중시하고, 관계적 자아를 지향하며, 자연과 여성의 배경화를 경계하는 작품이 된다. 한마디로 자연과 문화를 이분하지 않은 작품인 것이다. 즉 <토지>에 나타나는 생명주의는 문화적 에코페미니즘 특성을 지닌 것이다. 본고는 이를 밝히기 위해 조선여성의 성역할과 관련한 생명주의를 고찰하였다.

영문 초록

Park Kyung-ri is not two minutes nature and culture. Only half the natural toughness, and criticism about half the natural environment. This eco-consciousness has become a driving force to draw the nature of the shipbuilding and women as active, independent from the land. Such land shall focus on organic world view and oriented relational self, the boundaries of nature and women who work in the background screen. That is the life of the land is culturally attention eco-feminist characteristics. This article is in relation to gender roles in Korean women were studied for this purpose of life care.
