영문 초록

Over the past decade, there has been a heightened interest in the healthcare industry. One way to lower costs for the healthcare industry is through the implementation of information technology. Healthcare information systems are clearly revolutionizing the industry. The computer-based patient record system, web-enabled medical technologies, and telemedicine are some of the more promising technologies that will contribute to a more efficient healthcare system for tomorrow. This study aims to contribute to a better understanding of HCIS in the United States by carrying out an industry analysis.
