학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 발표 능력 향상을 위한 수업 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 현재 한국 대학 내 학부 과정을 수학 중인 학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 발표 능력을 향상시키기 위해 수업의 내용을 제시하였다. 학문적으로 지칭하는 학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 함의와 실제 대학 내 존재하는 학문 목적 한국어 학습자가 상응하지 못함을 지적하고 이들에게 보다 이상적 교육으로 이끌기 위해 대안적 접근을 시도하였다. 외국인 유학생들이 학문 목적 학습자로서 학부 과정을 수학하기 위해 제외시킬 수 없는 '발표'에 대해 그 능력을 규정하고 이 능력을 수업 안에서 실현할 수 있는 내용에 대한 접근을 시도하였다. 발표에 필요한 능력이 무엇인지를 발표의 준비와 수행, 발표 후 단계로 나누어 제시하고 각 단계에 필요한 교육 내용을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the proper teaching way for impoving KAP learners' presentation skill which is required during undergraduate course. The certification of TOPIK level 3 is the minimum condition to enter the Korean universities. But the aim of TOPIK test is not to evaluate the scholastic aptitude, but to test general Korean abilities. Because of this insufficient admission condition, the foreign undergraduate students in Korean universities have many difficulties to do their presentation task, which requires not the common speaking ability but the ability to report a subject and to prepare the assessing. To have enough ability to perform presentation as a course task, learners must have some specific abilities such as listening, reading, writing and performance skills. The listening ability will be enough if they could understand the professor's instructions, because even Korean students don't completely understand the whole lecture. The reading ability is that can find the important points out in the book. The writing ability is simply required for complete the essay, given in the lecture. the last one is the ability to report the essay to the public. Among these, the performance skill is the essential for successfully completing presentation, and it isn't the skill, which is requiring quite long time to get. To make improve KAP learners' presentation skill, the phonetic and phonological practice is essential step to make presenter give audience proper response. And also another some suggestions are proposed to make their presentation give audience some inspiration.
