다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생의 교육과 지원에 대한 질적 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생에 대한 교육과 지원이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지를 질적 사례연구 접근법으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생의 외국인 어머니, 특수교사, 치료사가 인터뷰에 참여하였다. 그리고 다양한 자료 중 치료일지, 알림장 등 문서자료를 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생의 교육은 언어의 장벽으로 인해 어려움이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 언어적 문제는 가정 내의 소통을 어렵게 할 뿐만 아니라, 특수교사 또는 치료사와의 상담에서도 어려움이 있었다. 둘째, 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생에게는 다문화의 특성이 두드러지지 않았다. 셋째, 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생은 '다문화'와 '장애' 라는 두 가지 측면에서의 지원을 무분별하게 제공받고 있었다. 넷째, 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생의 교육을 위해 한국인 아버지가 교육에 참여하고 있었으며, 통역 등의 지원이 이루어지고 있었다. 결론적으로, 다문화가정 중도ㆍ중복장애학생의 성공적인 교육을 위해서는 외국인 어머니, 특수교사, 치료사 간에 신뢰로운 협력관계가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This research was to explore the meaning of education and support inform for a student with severe and multiple disabilities in a culturally and linguistically diverse(CALD) family. Qualitative interviews were conducted with foreign mother, special education teacher and therapist. the result of this research showed that first, difficulty of education for student was a language barrier. this language problem cause only communication difficulty in home but also difficulty on counseling with educator. second, CALD disability student didn't show CALD characteristic. however foreign mother showed CALD. she knew only little word on Korean. so she used bilingual for education with her child. third, support information are various CALD student is belong to 'CALD' and 'disability'. fourth, they have an effort on father educational involvement, take a picture and support interpretation and the like. and participants for this research thought that must cooperate for education on CALD severe disability student through the trust.
