조선족 소설의 연구 방향

국문 초록

본고는 한중수교 이후 한국학자들에 의해 이루어진 조선족 소설에 대한 연구를 사적으로 검토하고 그 성과와 한계와 함께 앞으로의 연구 방향을 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 조선족 소설에 대한 연구는 한중수교 이후 20년 정도의 기간 동안 상당한 연구 성과를 누적하였다. 본고에서는 이를 초기의 조선족 소설의 소개 단계와 조선족 소설의 특성을 살피는 연구 그리고 개별 작가에 대한 연구로 나누어 그간의 성과를 정리하였다. 이와 함께 조선족 연구자들에 의해 이루어진 저서들을 소개하였다. 이를 바탕으로 조선족 소설 연구에 대한 반성과 함께 앞으로의 연구에 대한 전망을 시도하였다. 조선족 소설 연구는 그간의 몇 작가에 대한 연구에서 벗어나 연구 대상 작가와 작품을 다양화하여야 하고, 그간 주연구 주제였던 민족정체성의 문제에서 벗어날 필요가 있으며, 중국 현대사와 문학사와 관련한 연구가 필요하다는 점과 함께 형식미학적인 접근의 중요성 등을 강조하였다. 이 논문의 정리와 제언을 바탕으로 앞으로의 조선족 소설에 대한 연구가 보다 활성화되고 다변화되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The objectives of this study were to make a historical review of previous studies on novels written by Joseonjok writers conducted by Korean scholars since the establishment of formal diplomatic relation between Korea and China, to discuss their accomplishments and limitations, and to suggest directions for future research. Studies on novels written by Joseonjok writers have accumulated a large volume of outcomes for about 20 years since the establishment of diplomatic relation between Korea and China. This study grouped previous studies into those introducing novels written by Joseonjok writers at the early stage, those examining the characteristics of novels written by Joseonjok writers, and those on individual Joseonjok writers, and examined the achievements of these studies. In addition, we introduced writings by Joseonjok researchers. Based on the results, we reflected on previous studies on novels written by Joseonjok writers and forecasted future studies. While previous studies concentrated on a few writers, future research on novels written by Joseonjok writers needs to diversify writers and works to be studied. In addition, it is necessary to get away from the issue of national identity, which has been a major theme of previous studies, and to make research related to Chinese modern history and literature history. We also emphasized the importance of formal aesthetic approaches. Based on the results and suggestions of this study, we expect the activation and diversification of studies on novels written by Joseonjok writers in the future.
