국문 초록

본고는 근대교육을 실시한 이후에, 인재를 양성할 교사 배출을 목적으로 설치한 사범학교에서 전개된 한문교육 과정에서 나타난 양상을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 사범학교는 갑오개혁과 함께 시작되었는데, 1894년에 사범학교, 1895년 이를 재편하여 한성사범학교, 1909년에 관립한성사범학교, 1911년 사범학교 폐쇄, 1921년 조선총독부 관립사범학교, 1922년 독립된 교원양성 기관으로 경성사범학교를 설치 운영하게 되었다. 사범학교의 교육과정에서는 한문교육의 전개과정을 5단계로 나누어볼 수 있다. 한문위상축소기는 사범학교와 한성사범학교, 독립된 한문교과 성립기는 관립한성사범학교, 국어급한문기도 관립한성학교 폐쇄 이후, 조선어급한문기는 조선총독부 관립사범학교와 경성사범학교이었고, 국어(일어)급한문기는 1938년 이후의 경성사범전문학교 시기이다.

영문 초록

This study is made on the survey in changes in and developments of Chinese character education in the Teachers’School which were to educate teachers for raising human resources in the modern education system. The Teachers’ School began along with Gabo Reform of 1894. It was reformed in 1895 into Hanseong (Seoul) Teachers’ School, Public Hanseong Teachers’ School in 1909, shut-down in 1911, Japanese Government-General of Korea’s Public Hanseong Teachers’ School in 1921, and the independent Gyeongseong (Seoul) Teachers’ School in 1922. Chinese education for the curriculum of the Teachers’ School can be divided into 5 phases. Shrunken era is for Teachers’ School and Hanseong Teachers’ School, the independent Chinese character subject era is for Public Hanseong Teachers’ School which is also for the national-language level era, the Korean-language level era is for Japanese Government-General of Korea’s Public Hanseong Teachers’ School, and the national (Japanese)-language level era is for Gyeongseong Teachers’ School in 1938.
