국문 초록

이 논문은 농암 이현보의 시가에 나타난 ‘졸박’의 문예미학을 탐색한 연구이다. 농암은 조선의 문학사 상 강호가도를 개척했다는 평가를 받고 있는 중요한 인물이다. 그는 15세기 후반과 16세기 전반을 살았던 관료이자 문인으로 조선 산수문학 발전의 중요한 시점에 위치하고 있다. 그의 시 대부분이 산수 자연을 노래한 전원시 경향을 드러내고 있으며 시의 소재도 강, 배, 어부, 백구, 오두막, 오솔길, 물고기, 달, 연못, 연꽃, 바위, 시내, 누정 등 소박한 정감을 드러내고 있다. 농암의 강호가도는 예안 분천을 자연미의 공간으로 인식하고 있었다, 농암의 시가에는 강호가도와 예술 감각이 교융된 ‘졸박(拙樸)’의 미학이 드러나고 있다. 졸박의 문예미학은 농암의 강호가도 창작의 미학 이념이었다. 그의 시가 전반에는 꾸밈없는 꾸밈의 소박한 미의식과 守拙과 養拙의 미의식이 함의된 졸박의 문예미학이 앙금처럼 녹아서 은근한 미를 발산하고 있다. 그의 시 분석을 통해 졸박의 미학을 탐색하고 농암 시가의 문예미학을 규명하여 농암 시가의 문예미학비평을 시도해 본 것이다.
