영문 초록

Cultural tourism is loosely defined, but whether a tourist trip is “cultural” should be determined by the tourist’s intent and the drawing power of the art form or event, not by activity alone. There is a need to identify the market more closely by focusing cultural tourism studies to a greater degree. Bob Mckercher proposed a cultural tourist typology model using ‘centrality of purpose’ and ‘depth of experience’ as the core dimensions. Five types of cultural tourist were identified in his study, ranging from those people for whom culture played no role in their decision to travel and who had a shallow experience to those people who were highly motivated to travel for cultural reason and who subsequently had deep experiences By using Bob’s model, this study is classified the tourists who touring around Korea Traditional House Complex and Mireuksa Temple site into five levels.
