영문 초록

Rural tourism researchers have been motivated by the recognition of the importance of this activity for rural areas. The objective of this study aims to analyze the characteristics of rural tourist’s activity program preferences according to the characteristics of socio-economic and tourists behaviors in Korea. It has been shown that the activity preferences mostly were nature-based activity, farming experience, gourmet cooking, and folk experience. The results suggested that whereas women, single, day visitors and over fifty years old were more likely to prefer to gourmet cooking, man and parents with six-year-old children were more likely to prefer to farming experience.
