영문 초록

This study has been performed to investigate the characteristics of the consuming behavior of skiers for development of new resorts or maintenance guideline of prevailing resorts. We reviewed the current status of resorts through open literature and visitation survey. We then examined the consuming behaviors made in three major ski resorts, Hyundai Sungwoo, Phoenix Park, and Yongpyong, in Kangwon-Do via questionnaire survey. Our results indicate that 1) the selection of a lodging facility is made based on the facility type and resort size, and the type with kitchen is preferred. 2) the type with kitchen is specifically preferred to 20s customers, and it is used most by 1-day users. 3) the meal expense is high to the customers of high annual income and/or 30-40s. 4) the leisure, convenience, or service facilities are most attractive to female, high income level, and/or 30-40s customers 5) food and beverage are resolved by cooking or snack 6) the consumption unit is proportional to the annual income and the level of education.
