유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 패러다임 시대의 미술교육 전망

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 변화하는 유비쿼터스 패러다임에 따른 미술교육의 방향을 전망하고 그 의미를 탐색하는 데 있다. 기술과학의 비약적인 발달은 디지털혁명과 함께 유비쿼터스로 이어졌고 사회문화적 패러다임의 전환을 가져왔다. 이러한 변화는 교육 현장의 교수학습 개념과 교육환경에도 새로운 변화를 예고하고 있다. 미술교육의 관점에서 매체 철학과 교수기술, 의사소통, 피드백의 측면에서 본 유비쿼터스 환경의 내재된 가능성을 주시할 필요가 있다. 이에 연구자는 유비쿼터스 패러다임 시대의 미술교육의 방향에 대해, 제3공간의 재해석을 통한 감성공간의 발견, 인터페이스를 통한 예술적 알고리즘으로의 진화, 시뮬라크르 현상과 내러티브의 확장, 평생교육 커리큘럼의 강화로 전망, 고찰하였다. 이는 새로운 트랜드로서의 유비쿼터스가 복합적인 읽기의 매개로서 확산적 사고에 도움이 될 개연성이 존재하기 때문이다. 그러나 미술이 삶 속에서 미를 발견하고 향유하는 학문임에 비추어 유비쿼터스를 통한 지각방식, 공감각적인 요소, 기술공학적인 요소들이 미술교육의 본질과 정서적인 측면에 어떤 영향을 줄 것인지에 대한 깊은 성찰이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구를 통하여 유비쿼터스 패러다임 시대의 미술교육의 방향을 새롭게 조망해 보고자 한다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to view the direction of art education according to changing ubiquitous paradigm and to search the meaning of it. Unprecedented development of scientific technology was succeeded by ubiquitous together with digital revolution, and brought about the change of socio-cultural paradigm. This fact predicts another new change in the concept of teaching-learning and educational conditions. On the viewpoint of art education, it is necessary to notice the possibility related to ubiquitous environment in the sphere of media philosophy, teaching skill, communication and feedback. Therefore this study expected the direction of art education in the age of ubiquitous paradigm as discovery of emotion space, evolution into artistic algorithm through reinterpretation of 3rd space and interface respectively, simulacre phenomena, extension of narrative and strengthening of curriculum of lifelong education, and reviewed these subjects. This is because ubiquitous as complex reading medium is highly probable to improve divergent thinking. But in consideration of the fact that art is the knowledge system to find and enjoy beauty in life, it is necessary to reflects on what kind of influence has perceptual strategy through ubiquitous, synesthetic and engineering technological factor on the nature of art education and emotional affects. Therefore this study tries to illuminate what ubiquitous environment means to education of art with a new perspective.
